Vino attacks everyone said:The astana jersey looks really good on him indeed.

He used to rival Pantani's speed on the climbs, 2007 tour was very interesting to watch indeed

Zam_Olyas said:Now why would i do that?
Rollthedice said:He was nowhere near The Chicken speed. Ras had over three minutes on Contador when he was withdrawn by Rabo. And good ol' Cadel was 24 seconds short to reach Paris in yellow.

Wish things had worked out better for that team. I looooved the AC-Vino combination.
Vino attacks everyone said:Rasmussen had a breakaway. Think AC had overall the best climbing times except for that stage?![]()
burning said:He dropped him on the Galibier, but that was due to Rasmussen's breakaway in my opinion, Rasmussen was easily the strongest guy in 2007
jens_attacks said:rasmussen said if he wanted, he could have put 3 minutes on alberto on aubisque. but he had mercy
i think he was the strongest by far.
jens_attacks said:not always is wise to be too strong. as an example, froomey could have won this tour by 10 minutes +. but he didn't. it was a wise and sane decision
LaFlorecita said:Because you wanted to know how many gts he won![]()

That's just your opinion, man. :)

Nilsson said:'Easily' doesn't seem totally fair and true to me. I'd say they were pretty close, in the mountains. Rasmussen, however, the smartest and most efficient one, IMO (Contador rode like a rookie, which of course he pretty much was, but too gutsy sometimes). That being said, Contador normally would have done better in the last TT, and (neutralizing Rasmussen's breakaway) could already have had a 39 second advantage - which of course isn't correct either.
