Contador's SRM doesn't show his watts. So perhaps he's looking at his speed or heart rate.

Yes i seen him in the looking down quite alot so that must be it.

Btw, how come no one claimed the green jersey from Contador?? I wanted to see him on his yellow TS jersey on the weekend. I kept confuse him with Cannondale guys.

Kelderman is second in the points classification now but he wears the white jersey so I'm afraid Contador will still wear it :p

AC: So Froomey, what kind of recovery supplements
are you using, mate?
CF: The CNP Elite Peptide mix is great, especially when
we are training at altitude.
AC: Man, Oleg only gives us crappy Russian stuff.

That explains today's downhill speeding.

Missed the stage.

If Froome lost all his teammates (not impossible, remember the stage after AX 3 last year) while Contador was up the road, would he have brought it back? If not, how much time would he lose?

Contador didn't need to be strong. If Movistar and Saxo had used their braincells they could have taken minutes on Froome through tactics alone.

I think Bertie played Berties game, it's what he does and he does it damn well. This was about winding up Sky and Fwoomie and we can safely say that he got their attention"!!

Biggest disappointment of the year, you saw it coming and were pessimistic as to the result, I was hopeful, you were right. Don't blame saxo though, it was Movistar who rode high tempo to eliminate Porte which also nullified any attacks from that group. They rode for 2nd and got it.

Ye if they all had ridden for the win, i.e. against the yellow jersey they could have broken Froome that day. Sadly, Movistar rode for 2nd. Still ****es me off

He wasn't going for it before Froomes crash and you don't attack a fallen leader, unless you are a ***

This is BS. If this was a GT it would have been stupid not to finish off the favourite when you could.

However this is a second tier race so it's not really worth to do something that would ultimately been controversial because some people still seem to think this is a group ride and not bike racing.

Inb4 "tradition of the sport" reply ignoring the fact that the 2 greatest cyclists of all time were ruthless with their tactics

If the speed in the peloton is low and the leader falls, you don't attack, just like you don't attack when the leader stops for a pee. If you have been going for it and he falls on the other hand, you don't stop I agree with you on that.

Not attacking =/= Waiting.

Waiting or going at a normal pace, Froome would catch up anyways. The only reason to have a debate about this is if AC tried to stay ahead of Froome today, and I would classify that as some sort of attack, no?
