Interview with Reuters:
"I don't think we have to look back to 6,7 years ago. I feel stronger than last season, maybe similar to 2014."

2 minutes into the second tomorrow

If he says "maybe similar to 2014" it means i'm better than in 2014 :D

Still not sure what kinda drug some of you are on.

This climb is more than enough to destroy everyone, especially cause of the profile of the stage before the last climb.

Reminder that Contador's best performances are never on 8+% climbs.
probably the same you were on when saying numerous times the 2015 giro would be the easiest bertie gt win ever...

Did i ever say that? Give me the quote. Maybe I did though and i wasn't so far off either way.

What i prob said was that this giro was gonna be a piece of cake (big difference) and it was, kinda.

He won 9 GT's, and only 2 victories were easier (tour '09 and giro '11).

Keeping in mind that Contador crashed in the giro, he won very very easy. He was never in danger, had that one bad day on the last day but his giro victory was never in danger.

And of course no one could have predicted the Landa thing, that's cycling, but even besides that anomaly he still won pretty easy.

Miburo is a rollercoaster of emotions.

Unlike many here, i never take things personal. It's a forum about a sport after all. I don't think you're a good judge either knowing your record but you can have that opinion.

It doesn't affect me, i'm here to talk cycling and not character of posters.

Besides the discussion of cycling even though you contribute very little to it, i don't care about you so feel free to think what you want. It's a free world ;)

Dunno if you watched the peloton on the two steep climbs at around 40 k to go, Tinkoff upped the pace, Contador was litterally out of the saddle the whole climb, not a grimace on the 20% bit and even jumped on Slagter's wheel at the summit with ease even if it wasn't necessary . He looks lethal. Can't wait for tomorrow

Tinkoff should drill it tomorrow on the penultimate climb and on the bottom slopes of Madonne, then Contador should go for a big acceleration on the 9,3% section. He should be able to gain those 20-30 seconds in 5 km, even though they are just at 5%. But he should be alone when the climb flattens, Becouse gaining time when you are already alone (and guys behind are looking at each other) vs. dropping them on the 5% gradient is a different matter entirely.

I hope he has enough raw power in his skinny legs to stay away and even take time on the less steep section. I think I am most worried about Porte. By the way Matthews said yesterday that Contador is still the favorite for him.

Also if Alberto takes yellow I hope he does it by such a margin that I won't have to worry about the bonus seconds on Sunday :p

Oh yeah true that, I sense the little group of favorites over col d'eze sprinting for bonus seconds and stage win :(

Alberto better put everyone out of reach tomorrow

Don't worry. He was training for the situation, when he tested his legs against track specialist Thomas in the bonus sprint the other day. It's all gonna be k :D

I have a really good feeling about tomorrow's stage. If Tinkoff play their cards right, they can really do some major damage with Majka and eliminate Alberto's key GC rivals. So, don't be too surprise if it starts to get real at about kilometer 33 ;)

On the Col d'eze tt I think Porte, Dumo and Thomas could have gotten time on Berto
