Yes, vino and LA

I can see a problem with Etixx: Kittel. He needs at least 8 guys around him. A tour line-up with both Bertie and Kittel would be harakiri.

Contador is on good terms with vino.

Evidence: saw them shaking hands last year :p

Shocked at the mention of a possibility of AC and Vino. After the last tour of duty at Astana?? I would not trust Vino. Plus after the way Vino has treated Nibs, public berating, no respect and the like, why would any major GC contender go to the ship of Vino?

Everytime Movistar tried to sign Contador Valverde would say they get along great. But with Quintana, you basically have 2 potential Tour favourites, and another rider who's a favourite in basically every Vuelta or Giro he does. I think that's too much in one team, unless one of them (Quintana?) really wants to do the Giro next year, and give Valverde a free role.

Astana depends on how badly they want to developt their younger climbers into GT riders. Don't really know how Contador's relationship with Vino is. Also, their budget is shrinking due to low oil prices

Katusha seems like a surprisingly good fit to me.
Isn't Katusha's money based on oil/energy money? If so, they might be feeling a pinch too.

I wouldn't want to see him go there anyway, I've never liked that team. Although, Katusha does have some superb riders... :)

honestly with an aging JRod, I think it might be a natural landing spot if they have the rubles to sign AC (hopefully he's not dragging Hernandez and Palhino with him, both are well past their respective primes)

The more I think the more I believe he's gonna end in Etixx and we'll finally understand why did Brambilla take a huge turn in Pais Vasco when there was "no reason at all" :)

With Brambilla, De La Cruz, and Verona and Jungels coming through, they at least have something in the mountains now
Lampre have Costa, Meintjes, Niemiec, Polanc, Koshevoy, Ulissi, Petilli and Oliveira.
If he goes to Etixx, he will be once again on a team with very little support, Lampre might not be the strongest team either but at least they would send a team fully dedicated to winning with Berto. Etixx is a classics/sprint team. They only have half a dozen riders who can sort of climb, and they'll have to fit Kittel's leadout train into the team.
And I don't like Lefevre.

The only way I can see him going to Etixx instead of Lampre as positive, is if it means he'll aim for the Giro-Vuelta double with the TDF for Kittel. In Lampre, I am sure he would ride the TDF as they don't have many other riders to lead the team there.

Imagine Contador and Kittel in the same TdF team. Contador is somehow in 2nd place on the last mountain stage, attacks on the first climb of the day like 2011, and then is solely responsible for Kittel finishing outside the time limit. Would be hilarious

Ha, like Costa and Ulissi would help him. Anyway, Lampre has the best jersey by far, so I can see the appeal.

For the fans, I mean. Not for AC himself.

Throw in a TTT, some echelons and Bertie will be very pleased with EQS ;)
Yes, I can see the 9 already :D

Alberto Contador
Tom Boonen - that would be some crazy combined records between those two. Also Tommeke is due a Hushovd kind of ride in mountains before the end of his career.
Matteo Trentin - just because he's an awesome rider and great team player. A younger Tosatto if you wish.
Tony Martin - great guy to put in the break just to pull Contador along when he attacks 100km from the line.
Yves Lampaert - it's never too much to have another belgian hard men in the team.
Daniel Martin - someone has to be the inconsistent climber of the team now that Jesus Hernandez is retiring.
Gianluca Brambilla - a decent climber has always a place in any GT team.

Now they just need to hire two more guys and it's done:
Roman Kreuziger - he's czech so it should be a done deal. Road captain, big gear climber and loyal team mate.
Louis Vervaeke - should be a good fit in a belgian team and he's looking really strong for the future. As Seeldrayers retired BTW?

If they need some other domestique just put KIttel's nose in the wind :D

Seeldraeyers retired. He's working as a Telenet mechanic now. Sad story :(
