Today it was a day where he could see nothing... Tomorrow is the first long climb of this vuelta, so it could be diferent.

I´m not expecting nothing special from him, just trying to follow the best, probably quintana, but let´s see...

If he don´t loose time tomorrow his probabilities grow up, but it will not be easy...

I want to believe...

IMHO. AC needs to hit them a little on the Penultimate climb. Not much. Just enough to shake the tree. Then Hard on the Final Early.

this slight reconnaissance makes sense when a rider feels the strongest which is pretty far from being the case so far. I'm sure bertie's tactics will be quite conservative. but if the things go well, he'll give a big attack from 4-5 kms far out.

I'm not convinced yet with Contador's fitness even without his injury. I have a feeling his fitness is just enough but not good enough to start chipping his deficit. Today, I hope he proofs me wrong.

Today the primary goal is limit losses. Then if there's a opportunity to gain some seconds it will be good

I really don't blame this on the crash, he is just not in the climbing class as Quintana and Froome. Not really age because its not as if Froome is 5 years younger. But Contador has been doing this for a long time, at top level. Retire. Will be interesting if the Trek deal is a done deal, Trek may be having a rethink. And they should, spend millions?

Retire. Can't compete with guys with one more GT in their legs.
Well, he did crash... we don't know how much that affected him.

No 10th GT... :(

According to some here, the crash had not affected him.
And 2 days ago it didn't seem to have to.
One way or another, he's almost 3 minutes down on GC and though there is a slight chance of him recovering some time, winning seems to be an almost impossible task and Contador isn't anymore the rider who can do the impossible.

I believe this is also why no contract has been announced yet. Some how, it is dependent on his performance in this GT.

I saw again the same rider done that i saw on Ezero. I think he would analyze the withdrawal at the end of season
