I don't think it's much different from what he's done in previous years. He is always a bit undercooked at the Dauphiné. I don't think he'll "tank" anything.Climber123 said:He said that he will try and take it easy at the Dauphine but it will take lots of self-discipline. Well, last year he went bananas on Madeleine mid stage. That's hardly taking it easy.LaFlorecita said:I don't think it's much different from what he's done in previous years. "Taking it easy" is Berto-speak for "I won't be bothered if I don't win"Netserk said:Well, last year he went bananas on Madeleine mid stage. He certainly did care last year and and so did he in 2014. I think he alludes to his pre-ban prep where a whole new Contador emerged in July - that hasn't been the case for post ban.LaFlorecita said:"Taking it easy" is Berto-speak for "I won't be bothered if I don't win"Netserk said:Well, last year he went bananas on Madeleine mid stage. Oh, he will win there too, true 2009 styleRed Rick said:Lol. I'd wait at least until the TT before making any preliminary conclusions.
