Today was a short but intense training with TTbike...

He looks pretty fit and ready to me!

He looks like he needs to lose a couple of kilos and that he's not sure of his form or how it compares to others. Just preparing myself to hear him say these things in upcoming press reports

So it´s the first time you hear Contador trying to make him self an underdog?

He´s never sure of his form: We will see how it goes, I hope the best...
yeah you right, he looks really fat especially considering he is sitting on his bike. real fat looking. Fatty Bertie...

I´m sure he´s ready, not even 6 months suspension can hold him down.

No you dont want to go down that path :p :D

Jokes fellas, jokes. Dude looks fit and ready to go. He'll still downplay his form and that he's a real threat for the overall just like he always does. I just think its funny that he always does it (it's not like it makes his competitors think he's just there for a training ride) :)

I don't think he can resist. It's an icon climb and has been featured in a race he's never done (nor likely to do), so you know he has to be thinking about it.

Add that he also need to test his legs. He has this and San Sebastian before it is down to business on the first mountain stage in La Vuelta. So i am counting on it.

Think it will depend much of the weather, if it rains I don´t think he should take the risk on the cobbles, no matter how easy they look.

True, very true. Safety first.

Also note that he's doing San Sebastian as well. So this will be a great 12 days leading up to the Vuelta (well at least for us Contador fans :))

It's just the Muur, I've ridden over that thing countless of times. Should be no problem for Contador as long as he rides on the front.

Is it confirmed he rides Sebastian?

Really not been the same without AC, can't wait for him to liven things up in the Vuelta

Rewatched the 2011 Giro recently, had forgotten how ridiculously superior he is when on form

I can not believe.. only 4 days for the return of the king Alberto!!!

I have to say I can't wait either.

The Vuelta should be outstanding. Froome is in good condition and I think would love a GT win after supporting Wiggins and of course, AC has something to prove too. Might be the best GT of the year.

The field of the vuelta did not look so bad.. it will not be only Contador x Froome...

Gadret, Kreuziger, Moncoutie, Anton, Dekker, Purito, Menchov, Cunego, van den broeck, cobo, gesink, mollema, machado, henao, uran, de gent, hoogerland, gilbert... a lot of great rides!

It will be the best GC of this year!

By the way... Roche, Tiralong and Kreuziger will already start to work for Alberto?! :D
