Let's be clear I don't dislike Vroome! at all. I found him quite humble during his Tour interviews and definitely think he has the goods. Looking forward to seeing him and Alberto go toe-to-toe in the mountains. Hopefully he can live up to the lofty expectations of his fans (not sure if they qualify as fanboys just yet), which, as a group, can be somewhat grating (as most fanboys/girls can be, present company included
wrong thread and forum section, I know, but if cf rides close to how he did in the tdf I would be even more suspicious than I already am. Perhaps next July or one of the races before it.

Philippe Gilbert last year did a lot of things like that.
At the start of the first stage of the Tour he said to other riders he would win easily with one leg.
At the queen stage of the Eneco Tour he told David Millar when and where he would attack and how he'll win.
Also knew he was going to win the AGR before the race even started and stuff like that.
