Im so sick of producers just not caring about anything that happens behind the winner. It makes zero sense to film the guys that finished rolling after the finish line when the peloton sprints for top 10 just behind them…
Yes we really needed to see Michael Matthews win his 30th career garbageman fraud sprint for 9th place or whatever

Pidders only has 'haters' because he gets put in conversations with all-time greats, pretty silly if you ask me.
What confuses me is that I have honestly never seen him in the same conversations as van der poel, van aert, pogacar, remco etc. Not on the road at least. Does it happen more in CX? Even the British media (not that much re cycling exists)/Kirby never really compare Pidcock with the very best.

Yeah, the 'overrated' thing is very artificially constructed, I think. Almost everything I've read about him has him rated pretty fairly, as a contender for best of the rest in hilly classics behind the aliens, and as someone with potential but no real results in stage races.

Impressive from Lapeira to win the sprint there too after the chase.

Also Matthews won from the peleton
Like in Brabantse. It was a massive failure for Matthews not to follow Pidcock. It is unforgivable.

Chapeau Pidders & Ineos! He now has the same amount of career wins as Lenny Martinez! :)
Lapeira good again and Lefereve's "team chat" got some results. MvdP on an off day?

Yeah, the Big 3 in CX is a very regular thing.
That's fair. I'm not sure it carries over in the same way to the road, though, to me it feels he's spoken about as just below the very best in hilly classics like Strade Bianche, Amstel, Liege, which is very fair imo.
