not many old friends left in today's peloton. Let's hope Vino will sign him

I thought he was more Ulrich's friend. Certainly seemed that way in the tour when the three of them were riding for T-mobile and Kloden was there to help Ulrich and not Vino.

These type of guys make some of the worst domestiques imo. Rarely committed to dig deep for others and sacrifice own chances etc.

The likes of Monfort and Tiralongo are much more effective support riders.

Seriously? the guy is criticized for never being able to lead for himself, his best races he has been a domestique for Ullrich, Armstrong and Contador. However who would he have sacrificed himself for in the past few years? Monfort, Zubeldia, Horner? The biggest question in his ability to domestique effectively is his age and form. Certainly not will.

Nah, not effective. Can't set a high pace for attacks for a potential leader, seems too fragile etc.

Much better support riders around. Probably cheaper too. Kloeden is done and not just because of age.

Serves him right for racing like a journeyman since 2010 in spite of his obvious talent. Really shameful for a former TDF contender.

Most riders naturally become journeyman when they get to 35, 36, 37, 38 years of age.

They don't have the option to choose to be a contender.

I'd be more harsh on those years when Klodi was 26, 27, 28 & 30.
