) He just hasn't won that much at all in his career, and certainly not spread throughout the season. He has the grand total of 7 victories in 8 pro seasons. But anyhow, the lack of wins will not be unknown to him..

Where would this forum be without him? Countless threads wouldn't have existed if this guy would be a terribly lazy student right now. He's the laughing stock of many Alberto fans, and he always makes up entertaining excuses like the ones you mentioned. You've got to give Andy credit for his services to cycling and its fans.
