Just rode the entire #IMFrance course w/ Andy Schleck, Yves Cordier, and @johanbruyneel. Technical, lots of climbing/descending, hard!

Andy would have crushed Contador on the finish line then, since was in great shape and beat Samu on Avoriaz. Contador clearly realized it and just preferred to pretend he made a gift in order to try saving his image that way at least.

It is one person's opinion. We have a right to agree with it or not or even be ambivalent about it. Personally aside from Andy's epic act of desparation on the Galibier, I can't see how he could come to that conclusion. They were failing spectacularly up to that point with their inability (or unwillingness) to take time out of Evans in the mountains before the ITT.

Here in the states I've heard alot of Andy love. Its always people very devoted to Versus/Phil & Paul/Lance. Also the same people adore Cav and think Contador is arrogant. Very few of them know that racing happens any other time than the Tour though so you don't see them in places like this.

For it to even be in consideration for best Tour of all time I would think that one would need to be enthralled by the action from beginning to end, not just in the last week or for one stage.

Here in the states I've heard alot of Andy love. Its always people very devoted to Versus/Phil & Paul/Lance. Also the same people adore Cav and think Contador is arrogant. Very few of them know that racing happens any other time than the Tour though so you don't see them in places like this.

I'm guessing the Contaor is arrogant part is a result of him having the audacity to not bow down/bend over and allow Armstrong his parade to a triumphant return to Tour glory.

Yeah it was an angle versus played up when they were on Astana together. I've never seen anything remotely arrogant out of Contador. I tell them that its funny that they don't hate Cavendish for being arrogant and I normally get some sort of "well he is the best" answer.

I think I asked a valid question of which you have chosen not to answer. My post to Airstream was said in jest considering he was constantly protesting what he calls the "hatred" of Andy in the Depreciation thread. There is only one poster who has stated that they actually "hate" Andy. I personally find Andy extremely entertaining and I truly appreciate all the material he provides.

The only thing I was truly upset about is the name calling of which I felt the need to do in kind.
