Basso can't have seriously thought that he would be able to peak twice AND out climb Contador and A. Schleck to the point that he'd have a buffer large enough to make up for his inevitable loss in the ITT to Contador.

Being a pro athlete, he probably has the kind of self-confidence that's necessary to believe in all kinds of unlikely positive outcomes. Winning a tough Giro probably caused some seismic peak in that self-belief ;-)

Don't bother, ACF94 is the biggest hypocrite on this board.

Very black/white, and he can't put a mirror in front of himself.

So is your friend timmy. You are the hypocrite if you don't have a go at him as you have had a go at me for saying some things about riders.

When was the last time you congratulated a Spaniard on a win, and didn't inject doping accusations or collusion allegations into the conversation regardless of it not being the Clinic? Or is that not pulling people down when they succeed or do well, because they happened to be Spanish?

It is not about congratulating riders about how they do. Just the happiness he showed because of Cadel's failure was disgusting.

With the spanish point, maybe I need to make myself clear. I was pointing out the working together. I don't like it and have made my point about it. I have not gone on about it in ages except when I made a joke which used smilies about the spaniards making Cadel crash. People have joked about that with me. With the spanish doping I have made my point about their doping in the clinic and haven't said anything for ages in the professional road racing sub forum. I made a point about Cadel being clean in Fleche thread, vino coming back is not good for cycling in the liege thread (which I was backed up by certain posters) and in the giro thread I made comments about basso in the mortirolo giro thread which I apologised about because it was stupid. But I guess you never post silly things or type things that are wrong or hypocritical because you are perfect and have the sunshine shining out of your ****!

I guess it is alright to always have a go at Lance and never say nice things about him. You are a hypocrite for not having a go at those posters Libertine!

Right now I am not so much intrigued by the substance of what Schleck says as I am by the fact that during television interviews he can't look at the interviewer for more than three seconds and instead looks all over the place like he's sitting in a duck blind scanning the skies for his next target. Does the guy have Aspergers or something?

"target" or "targets"? reckon he's looking out for podium girls

Ignorant? Nice, really nice Timmy. Maybe have a think about that and try again. Like Cadel or not, his ride overnight is deserving of respect

well done sir. you bypassed my message afterwards - after i found out he was injured - where i said it was gutsy.

you sir a big pile of fail :)

You are a very sad, mentally sick little man. You are the type of person who enjoys pulling people down when they succeed or do well. Your overwhelming hate of Evans crossed the line with that comment. Show some class and respect which you obviously have very little of. I feel sorry for how little of a person you really are. Laughing and saying it is brilliant at someones failure is a very low thing to say. I would like to see you ride 80km on a flat rode with a fractured elbow. Then we will see who is laughing. I would of been swamped by you and some of the dutch posters on this thread if I made that type of comment about the dutch losing in the soccer.
1. again like the above post i didn't know he was injured.

2. hahahaha, well apparently you like to 'bait' people (you even pm'd me that you have been trying to bait me ahaha), but when someone else does it they are devil. Great logic pal. Hypocrite of the year.

3. yeah the dutch deserved to lose, so wouldn't have been a biggie. I have no problem when folk speak the truth.

my post when i found out he was injured:

Yup if indeed true, that is hard luck. gutsy ride then.
but yeah no one was following those attacks.
Edit/Delete Message

How dare I not have future-sight abilities

acf you are without a doubt the biggest joke of a poster here.

Cadel is a good rider, but too late to be great

Levi Leipheimer said he hurt himself by trying to stay with Andy and Alberto too long. Like somebody or not but the truth is the truth. In the tour the strongest riders emerge in the mountains. I like Lance but this year he wasn't one of them, crashes or not. Cadel was no threat before his crash either. Alberto and Andy are on another plane were the riders of old in their prime could ride with them but at the moment they have no peer in the mountains. Andy does have to improve his TT though to be complete.
As I said earlier though, trash talking is human nature and inherent in sports. Intimidation, getting into somebody's head, getting someone off their game and reacting to what you do are tactics that can be used. Dale Earnhardt, Michael Jordan and John McEnro all used it. Andy isn't in that league though, don't get me wrong, but even lesser players can trash talk. It will turn on him if he does it to Alberto and does not back it up with a win. It only works the next time you meet an opponent if you backed it up by winning and proviing you were right.

Andy Schleck has said that Evans is no threat for the overall gc at the tdf. Your thoughts on that nasty, malicious, arrogant comment?

Cadel is going to kick Andy's boney ****!
