He's talkin about JV. But he never actually said there was no doping at the time he was on the team. He said there was no doping to his knowledge when he wasn't on the team.
i doubt jv's public words of any time frame are of any significance to the novitzky's investigation. simple reason: jv is a lawyer by heart raised in the family of a professional attorney.

there is nothing, absolutely nothing in the jv quote giving milo a reason to experience a hard on.

You are right, His father, Jim, was the attorney, His mother, Donna, was a speech pathology professor. You can disagree with me all you like, but can I ask you to please keep it clean. Not everyone appreciates that kind of language. Thanks

since milo thinks i'm 'quite right' and he also displayed some previously observed posting patterns of appeal to the 'rules's as well as a peculiar but eventually transparent topical affinity, can we have mods look into the milo dna a bit more closely ?

Agreed. Even the quote provided says virtually nothing if he's saying JV is "recanting". Milo gets a pudgy every time he hits the enter key at this point.

I already did, so many times, but there is no reason to be suspicious yet. Although I would love to be able to ban people for just wilfully telling lies and trying to twist things

with all due respect, "willfully telling lies and trying to twist things," is generally called 'spin' and lobbying and is therefore an intrinsic exclusion to a "discussion."

I never read this thread but WOW what an insight to the forum. This is a classic example of CN forum. Starts with an opinion that is going to be an issue for this forum, as I read on I can't decide if Milo is playing you all or truly believes what he writes. It goes from Public Strategies to Matlock Python suggesting certain writing pattern are indicative of BPC, sheesh this investigation has turned everybody into an investigator. I can't say if public strategies would or would not come on here but I can't imagine they care about changing the minds of a bunch of forum shut-ins. The thread devolves into classic name calling and nonsense by all the usual suspects and then you are at 202 posts. We need a clinic hall of fame, I nominate this thread.

And your handbag swinging added what exactly to this thread?

It looks more and more like the supporting players are falling in line. If everybody is lying, they sure aren't afraid of the consequences of going on record...or lying to a grand jury. I'll say it again, I don't see justice being served!

A Norwegian, a Dane, a Colombian, a Czech, a Spaniard... I'm noticing a trend here.

That said, I'm a bit worried that there doesn't seem to be many news about this. I hope it's just that people are saving their leaks until they have the full attention of the cycling world.

You have a habit of reposting old news - that article is 5 days old.

There were over 130 riders involved with the various USPS teams - so it means little to the investigation what half a dozen who are outside of the US say to the press.

Regardless - the investigators have in their possesion documents from Trek & Nike, (that we know about) that is where the case will be made.

Say what you want about the timeliness of the story, but there seems to be a trend. It looks like "Team Clean" is taking another hit. To expect Nike or Trek to provide the gov't with anything of substance that could possibly be incriminating is unlikely!

Miloman, do not again post an old news story to perform necromancy on a thread, especially if there is already a thread discussing that particular news story, post in the thread discussing that news story, or leave it be

Also do not lie, or twist the facts presented in a newsstory

Please, for my benefit ponit out the lies? I simply said that supporting players were falling in line and cited the story. I also remarked about a previous post regarding the Oakley rep who recently corroborated an earlier deposition when many senior members said she would recant. . . she didn't. I would like to know what you want me to do? I don't want to tick anyone off.

a lie, nowhere does it say anything about them testifying to a grand jury, they are not even US citizens

Several news services are already saying that European agencies are not cooperating with the investigation; witness are recanting their stories; witness that many said would change their stories aren't.

two lies, or at least one lie and an excaggeration

Yes - I expect them to comply in a Federal Investigation - and indeedthey admitted that they were co-operating:
Investigators requested documents from Trek Bicycle Corp. early in July and company officials complied fully, said Bill Mashek, a spokesperson for the Wisconsin-based company. He declined to say what those documents were. "One of the things investigators are seeking is for us not to comment," he said.

Nike spokesperson Derek Kent offered a similar comment.

"Yes, we have been contacted by the authorities regarding their investigation, and we are cooperating fully," Kent said. "At their request, we are not commenting further."

Didn't Lance say something similar? He would cooperate as long as it isn't a "witch hunt" I believe.

Has Lance been subpoenaed or brought before a GJ? Because that is what Trek and Nike were responding to.

Regarding Lance, I'm not privy to what has been asked or what documents were requested, if any. Are you?

You need to read the post more closely. I made reference to an earlier post and link about an Oakley rep's testimony:

http://www.bikeradar.com/road/news/a...and-jury-27879

I never said that the article cited regarding teamates said anything about lying to a grand jury. Read the thread and it all ties in.

what post? you just said to point out the lies. I pointed out three quickly findable lies. And you did say that they were willing to perjure himself.

Read the entire thread, it is a fluid discussion on a number of issues with numerous citations. You can't take one post out of context, you need to read them all to be informed.
