All on course Dennis has crashed out.

Hepburn flying. Now lets see kauffman howson, durbridge

He was blown off course by a mini-whirlwind (no joke).

Considering these Nationals are mostly around open paddocks and small towns, that is not surprising.

So Hepburn seems keen to live up to his promise that he'll concentrate on the road this year.

Turbo Durbo seems to have regressed a bit.

Unlucky for Dennis. Hope he's ok.
Not entirely sure on Durbo, he has a busier schedule later in the year and may not want to be going too well yet - chances are he's eyeing the Giro TT again and the throat bug won't help either.

Hepburn has always been good at TT's too don't forget (3rd at '11 worlds, current IP WC, 1st at l'Avenir '11 prologue). Hepburn is as big a talent as any of the young aussies coming through, maybe even including Ewan.

TT result with avg speeds at the end (45km flat):

1 HEPBURN Michael [www.procyclingstats.com] Orica GreenEDGE 16 45 56:25 47.858
2 DURBRIDGE Luke Orica GreenEDGE 11 15 0:11 47.703
3 HOWSON Damien Orica GreenEDGE 6 10 2:06 46.141
4 DYBALL Benjamin Avanti Racing Team 5 6 2:35 45.763
5 CLARKE William [www.procyclingstats.com] Drapac Professional Cycling 4 2 2:51 45.557
6 ROE Thimothy Team Budget Forklifts 2 3:11 45.302

edit: ah ok, maybe not completely flat:

Agreed. Already a great palmares and has shown
he can produce results at championship events.

Ewan for the Criterium if it comes to a sprint.

However OGE/ Drapac will chase down any moves that do not have at least one of their riders- so i will suggest Leigh Howard.

I'm probably the only person who is bothered about this race.

Well I'm finalising my plans to watch it live so I don't think that is the case ;)

I'll back Cam Meyer for the win with my wildcard of Cantwell

Richie to start his 6 month peak here. Guess it will be difficult to win though.

Any profile of the course?
