Ewan for the Criterium if it comes to a sprint.

However OGE/ Drapac will chase down any moves that do not have at least one of their riders- so i will suggest Leigh Howard.

I'm probably the only person who is bothered about this race.
No way, this should be a cracker.

Howard's not riding so I'm going with Cantwell - crits are his specialty. Ewan and Von Hoff to round off the podium with McCarthy and Rudolph (along with the rest of Drapac) to go on the attack. Giacoppo and Dempster will mix it up too.

Entry List:

Edit: Ewan is riding the U23 :p

Something tells me that Drapac will either attack like mad or give him an armchair ride chasing everything down. If it's the latter then expect a late attack from Meyer and/or McCarthy with a lap or two to go. I don't see many names who can stick with them if they do.

Bobridge is down for the Nats RR. If he's got form he's another who could perform well, he's got David Tanner there to help.

Would be good to see Bobridge do something, same for Matt Lloyd. Both of them are in limbo at the moment as far as their cycling careers go. Think Bobridge has rheumatoid arthritis. To think that Lloyd won the KOM at the 2010 Giro. Collision with a car seems to have messed his back up and caused him a lot of problems.

Steele von Hoff won the Criterium National Championships after a big crash going into the last lap.

I think he is a dark horse for the Road Race.

A lot of climbing for him and generally quick sharp attacks the the climb. If a group stays together or he follows the right move then he is in with a shout

He's done well on this course in the past. Obviously if the race splits up he won't win but if it is a small bunch that goes to the finish, then he is a chance.

I'd say there's too many good climbers who need to attack early and often if they want to get away from Orica and Drapac for Von Hoff to win. However, Morton should be in with a good shot and Von Hoff is certainly capable of helping him out.

Guys were can i watch this and how many hrs till the thing starts.

The race coverage in Australia for the Mens RR starts in exactly 24 hours. There will be an online feed but it will (very likely) be restricted to Australia due to SBS being partially government owned.
