Garmin's jersey looks bad. Starting to really dislike it especially because it is similar to sky's jersey.

Nice win by Gossy

Goss could even be the man to win the TDU. I can hardly see Cavendish bothering much about it.

Is that the first hype of 2011, maybe?

They will try for early stage wins with Cav. It's important Cav gets them stage wins. Goss won't be able to outsprint Greipel, Farrar etc consistently, Cav can. Cav will get the bonus seconds which will put him in good shape for Willunga.

They would then try and make sure Goss is in a good position to go for it on the Willunga stage as a backup plan in case Cav falters on Willunga.

If Cav wins 4 stages, I can't see him losing the TDU. HTC will chase like they did for Greipel last year.

If Cav can't win 3 stages before Willunga then it will be unlikely he will win.

Stirling stage there would be important because you can pick up some extra seconds over the rest of the field. That's the stage for Goss IMO.

Cavendish needs every pro tour point (or whatever they are called now) he can get. It is crucial for him to have a 9 man strong team at worlds this year.

Agreed, that is a stage that I see Goss winning.

I dunno, Cav can't be good all year or focus on every race in the year. Probably the first race he's personally interested in is MSR. Also, last year he sucked until the tour of Romandie, was it? They gave the TDU to Greipel last year, don't see why they shouldn't give it to Goss this time. Having said all that, maybe unlikely Cav's only there for training miles.
