I think an avatar reflects the user....I was actually going to start a thread where folks could explain or tell an anecdote about why they chose a particular avatar.

I am one of those users who like to mix it up depending on my mood. :)

This is my all time favorite avatar.
It used to spread fear on different grounds.
Sad, it doesn't work here.

Quit ragging on the few features this forum actually allows.

Go to your browsers settings and turn off "display images" and end of problem. You'll personally save a few electrons, meanwhile the flash ads to the right will end up overheating your processor, eating up your battery (or just power), cause global warming theories to be verified (or disproved), distract you from actually reading the forum, make you be a fan of the Sky cycling team, convince you to use Chrome, buy your next bike from wiggle, go watch the TdU in 2012, and pay for a custom FB page.

In closing, if you don't like this forum don't come back.

Half the time I do not read the name of the poster for a post, I just glance at the avatar. Now it is confusing.

The other half, I look at the avatar and close the thread :D

Don't they get sore feet after a while? :D

I there a way to suspend a mod for really bad puns? Just curious.

Also wanted to point out in advance that I appreciate not being suspended for starting this stupid thread.

Thank you.

Hmmmmm, tempting and appropriate. Some days I would sell my soul for a cup of coffee, but since I have no soul to sell...................

Nice! Looks like I've bought into Frank Day's schtick about short crank arms. Or maybe I'm just pushing a monster ring. Yeah, that's it. I'll honour that avatar for a while.

If that were the case I would have been long gone out of here :) and to be clear silly is allowed ;)

Well, what the heck, I'll see how it is to have a soul for a while. Custom avatar by an artist who also commemorates September 5th in his sig? Can't pass that up.
