I think to some degree Bahrain is now indeed scapegoated. Like they are still not winning "big". I agree ofc, and brought it up myself during the Giro, that they look very strong. In fact stronger than they ever did. But the big fishes with above the rest performances are still Jumbo and Pogacar on GC level, as well as DQS in their classics/sprinter specialisation. They actually do things that others can't.
I find it interesting though how those dynami s shift. Ineos has strong riders on paper but somehow lost their GC magic (I know that Bernal won the Giro) a bit. DSM was a bit like Bahrain last year and is now nowhere to be seen and Hirschi is only a shell of his former self (and that at his young age).
Anyway, that were some random thoughts so back to the topic: couldn't watch it live bit just watched Mohoric's celebration. Honestly in shock a bit, cause I totally didn't expect him to something like this. Must admit in the moment I even found it funny but its obviously not a good signal at all. Not for him, the team, nor the sport in general.
