Why does Belgium get a sticky and this doesn't? They're both HC. (I should probably duck for cover at this point).

At least Bavaria has a bit of genuine history as a place, Belgium's a bizzare political construct.

Actually Bavaria is one of the oldest states in Europe,. But the race is crap never the less:D

Yes, that's entirely consistant with what I said - I was ripping Belgium, not Bavaria.

Nice win! Two second places today for Skil...I'm happy with that...tomorrow is another day. Degenkolb and Kittle look like two very promising fast men

Kittel, Degenkolb, Guardini or Matthews?

It sure it hard to answer! Actually, every one of these young guys has been fantastic...and I'm glad! Better for competition...and us fans!:)

Degenkolb and to an extent Matthews are different sorts of riders - Degenkolb is in the EBH mold, rather than a pure sprinter.

Guardini has been the most impressive, and is very likely the quickest - more wins, against a higher level of competition.

I agree... infact Degenkolb was in the main group pf the ParisRoubaix...
but, once more, it's hard to say who is doing better...
