Rick has succumbed to emotive arguments, rather than taking the time to understand longer, detailed fact-based arguments.
That is why things like "Take back control" are so effective. A simple concept that triggers emotions and requires no understanding of details. It requires little intelligence to understand it, whereas to understand the complexities of the interrelationships between EU countries requires work and the ability to understand detail.
This is why your average ranty Brexiteer thought that leaving was a simple process, that could be done with a flick of a switch. They dont understand what has been happening in parliament and why, and now they are back on our tellies shouting and screaming about betrayal. Not one of them realises how easily they have been manipulated by the elite political class (eg Rees Mogg and Farage)
Brexit is happening, a no deal looks more than likely, bet that's killing you, the British people will take control back
If this happens Britain will remove itself from trade decisions that are made collectively, with Britain being one of the three top dogs in the decision making process.
It will have to follow WTO rules of which it has no control and will play no part in making.
So what were you saying about taking back control?
You need to move away from vapid soundbites and do some learning, thinking and analysis. But you wont will you? You'll just continue to be taken in by Farage's emotion based nonsense.
Will it kill me? No. I am relatively wealthy and highly educated (three university qualifications, one degree, two post grad), no debts, no mortgage, and many thousands in the bank. I am not exposed. It will be the poorest who will suffer, in exactly the same way they are the ones suffering for the unpaid gambling debts of the bankers in 2008.
Of course, by then, Farage will have scarpered.
The MPs all understand this because they are not stupid people. They understand legislation and trade. They know a Brexit that makes us better off is a fantasy. They know it will make the country poorer.
Nobody voted to be poorer.
So, Rick, explain to me which problems in the lives of the British will be solved by exiting the EU...
