Yes he's still a little behind on stage 10 but lets see what advantage Nibs has in a few days time after a couple of flat "recovery" stages. If Evans keeps clear of bugs I reckon it's game on.

That's a big if, riders of his age easily have one or more bad days during a GT. However, he can make Nibali sweat if he stays healthy and consistent, that's certain.

Definately can win the Giro and would be a worthy champion, I think he can take time out of Nibali on the MTT.

Nibali out sprinted Evans in first MTF stage to take the bonus, so right now I am confident in Nibali' sprint ability against Evans in a very hilly stage. And Astana can always play breakaway card, Evans don't have a strong team to do the chasing, so I doubt bonus seconds will come into play.

I think that proves Nibali has excellent legs and didn't go full gas on the climb.

In a hilly or flat sprint I'm sure Evans would win.

Mistakenly, I thought it was on the dam The stage I linked did require a substantial uphill sprint effort though.

Well, by all reports Cadel is well and confident leading into today's mountain stage. I think Nibali will be made to suffer badly for this Giro by a gritty and determined Evans. If Nibs is going to prevail he better be prepared to go deep the way Cadel is improving, looking and sounding. Then there is the mind. If Evans can make him hurt today - even if no time is gained or lost, it's got to play on Nibali's mind for the remaining stages.

Cadel's got nothing to loose. Nibali is the favourite and has all the pressure of being an Italian as well.

I don't like it when it involves one rider I like. When it involves two riders I like or two I don't like I at least want an exciting battle.

I've never be able to tell whether Evans is in difficulty or not. He always look likes he is about to pass out every time he is grinding, even today I can't tell.

According to eurosport if he tilts his head, that means he is in difficulty. Not sure that is true or not.

He does that a lot as well. I don't know. Evans never looks comfortable.

It was always gonna happen, he only had looked strong on 1 MTF and their is alot more to come i think he will struggle for a podium still. People were saying hed get stronger bla bla without seeing a col.

I don't really like Nibali just like I don't really like Evans, but it's not really all that bad. I like them more than Froome for example. I supported Evans during the 2011 tour, he was awesome.
