Maybe it's just me but doesn't it seem disingenuous and, even more so, disrespectful to his rivals that he so often falls back on excuses as to why he's done badly/lost time etc...?

Other riders seem to get on with it, maybe say they the weren't good enough or just keep things to themselves. Evans though always seems to want us to think it wasn't his fault... Makes me think he's a coward to be honest.

I suppose he could have used to good ol' bike toss for distance instead.

Menchov disagree, Ullrich doper, Boonen, Cancellara, Cunego for real? Disagree!, DiLuca doper, and I disagree, Heras doper, Bettini, Cavendish, Basso biggest doper on the list, Savoldelli disagree, etc.

Your list sucks!

A bunch of poeple getting caught.

Would you rather have the career of Di Luca instead of Evans?

I never said that. But all those have bee caught. Evans has not. I didn't even said anything about Menchov, in case you notice.

You did say you "disagreed" with Menchov in the list, but that is ridiculous. Menchove won the Giro and multiple Vueltas. He was repeatedly able to close the deal. Evans, not so much.

Heh, Savoldelli.

Ok 2 Giris and one second place, but apart from that, I would struggle to name any major results from him.

Romandie and uh, Trentino some year circa 2000?

Edit: oh, 2 Trentino's. That settles it.

Meh, might as well put Gotti in.

I crack myself up.

No, he hasn't!! Heras won in 2005, and was DSQ but then got it back! Get a grip.

2 Giros > 1 TdF

So Gotti, Simoni, Savoldelli > Evans

First is the only thing that counts in bike racing.

Don't be stupid. Do you really think evans is any cleaner than the listed names? Honestly?

I never said that. But getting caught is getting caught.

And to answer your question, yes, I believe Evans is cleaner than those riders. Does that means he is clean? Probably not. But I do believe he is more talented.

I guess he means getting sick (2010 Giro and 2012 Tour) or breaking his arm but still finishing (2010 Tour). Sometimes I wonder if people on here have ever raced a bike. Frankly name all the riders with a better Palmeres than Evans since he's been around - other than Contador nobody.

That's nonsense. You admit he is probably not clean, still you believe he's more talented than the others. Why do you think this? How would you know? And while he is not clean, he is still "cleaner" than di luca? Prejudiced, stupid bullsh*t.

I know Evans had a bad TT, but you don't know that this is the case, apparently today he had a mechanical which didn't help him, although he may still have lost out to Uran.

You know what the problem was with his bike? All I can find is rather vague and I did not notice anything in particular during the stage.

I have read, that Cadel has amazing test values, such as VO2 Max. I don't have the source right now, but I know this is no secret on these boards. If this would turn out to be false, I will have to reevaluate my stance on him, but as of now, I believe his is very talented.
