It is water. Get the **** over it you Drama Queen. It was a silly thing to do but the video clearly has an agenda in making Evans look bad by replaying what he did yet it doesn't show what the Water guy did except you claim that he barely touched you yet you can't even say that in the video. Are you going to listen to Cadel's sde? I don't think so...

I love how some of you sit on your high moral perches and judge people. You guys are so perfect and have never done anything wrong in your lives, haven't you?

@CadelOfficial

You're both idiots, you can see the guy pass the camera at the beginning, and then when Cuddles throws water on him, he is nowhere near toughing him, yet Cuddles claims he was knocked over. He is a coward liar. And the guy who is an unquestioning fan of the man who did that and threatened people over touching his stuffed animal calls me a "drama queen." Well, you and Cuddles are certainly experts on that subject...

Funny, ACF blocked me Twitter because I questioned him over Cuddles. Its amazing how fanboys share the personalities of their heroes many times.

I still want Cuddles to win, but he really makes it tough to like him.
No because you were acting like a moron. and making wild accusations which were simply stupid and then you started to have a go at me. I don't have to put up with your ****.

No you can not. It clearly swerves around you can't see anything. When your adding 2 and 2 you are getting 5. Stop looking for trouble.

Another interesting fact from the video is that Cuddles in sitting on his bike and nowhere near the ground. He is a liar and idiot, and you follow in his footsteps...imagine?

Cuddles is a wussy little diva sometimes, you need to just deal with that and quit swinging your handbag at people who make that observation ACF.

LOL, The guys who took the video agreed with Cadel's version of events but I'll let TFF keep harping on about it.

Again it is something so minor that doesn't deserve the carry on it is getting. Not surprisingly, TFF uses "bully boy" tatics.

Whoosh, felt the handbag close that time...watch out, I might toss some water on you...

The little diva's lucky Cav didn't knock his teeth out. I guess he feels protected from common, lowly guys like the Vittel guy though.

Swoosh...missed me again. You need a bigger handbag or maybe you can borrow one of Cuddles' stuffed animals and swing that...no, he'd cut your head off if you took his stuffed animal.

...but thanks for admitting that Cuddles' actions were immature and childish. You are going to grow up to be a big girl one day! Your parents will be sooooooo proud!

I think Cadel is one of the only one to get through the first week unscathed. Only the Schlecks, Basso and Klöden also managed that.

Knowing Evans however, he might as well crash in the 1st mt stage like last year and still be done with. Especially because in the mountains I don't rate the BMC team and they have lesser guys to keep him in front of all crashes.

On the flat BMC is fine, they've proven that...but in the hills and mountains? Hmm.

At least he's supposed to be able to pedal himself to the front then. If not, he'll be settling for the podium at best.

It certainly may be Cadel's time. Luck maybe on his side--avoiding all of the crashes this week speaks volumes about his fortune. In year's past, he seemed to always end up on the asphalt at some point.

There's still time for that, and still plenty of asphalt to smack.

@CadelOfficial

Cadel Evans is a highly paid, Lamborghini driving athlete who is privileged to
be in that position. He seems to know this and is a likable guy except for when, like now, he isn't. The person he just threw water on probably makes in a year what Evans makes in three days. I have no problem with throwing water on someone who does something to you on purpose, but this behavior is just boorish. At best.

Evans' behavior here is not, IMO, indicative of bad character or immaturity, it's indicative of his inability to deal with pressure. And cracking under pressure will cost you the race. So this behavior is bad form in more ways than one, and that is a sad thing for those of us who'd like to see him win.

Yesterday at the Tour de France someone sprayed someone else with water. According to the psychologists polled it's a proven behaviour regarding an overwhelming inability to cope with pressure. Now back to the less important news of the race.

If it was an isolated incident it wouldn't mean anything. But with Cadel it isn't isolated, far from it. It's the ogre that jumps out of the bag every time yellow is on his back or even approaching his door at the Tour. You know it, I know it, the whole world knows it and even jokes about it, so don't try to act like it's some cockamamie idea.

If people want to believe it is relevant, fine. I don't. Sport needs personalities. Not every one can have the personality of a Swedish tennis player. If that's how Evans' is, I don't care. I like to watch him race. I don't tune in to watch tedious 60 second videos post race.

I like like to watch him race, too. I'd prefer to watch him race and win. He needs to practice centering himself and just chill. And then, maybe, win he will.

He's had a few incidents which he has lost it but I think if we filmed anyone else on the forum during their lives we could find some points where they have lost it or cracked under pressure. This water issue really ****ed me off because the video clearly didn't show the whole incident and even if another person agrees with Cadel's events, they still argue the facts of it. The video took it out of context. The fact that this water throwing topic needed a thread says a lot about this forum. You don't think some people are just making certain comments to **** me off?

I'm sure they are :D. But you know we love you. Well, most of us, anyway. :)

EDIT: Maybe being an ******* helps him win. If that's the case I say keep doing it. I just think he should put most of that energy into his ride. It's probably the difference between second step and top step.

Wow some of you guys are getting right out there in the touchy dept, probably a good job you don't live near each other or it would be glove,s off for round one.

Any how as a self confessed Cadel fan fanboy or what ever you would call me, I love the way he is doing so well at the moment.
Stage 7; his competitors & their team members are still falling by the wayside, the domino's are coming down, not that I wish any rider the kiss of the bitumen, I know how it hurts.
The others are getting the bad luck, Cadels not, that's good so far.
I am liking his new public image, It hasn't turned 180 but its getting better.
The hour he is given each day to his own private time is probably so that he can meditate as I think he may practice Buddhism.
Funny, people are saying if he gets on the podium he should be happy, for christ sake he's been second twice how good can you get, & don't give me lame excuses as to how luckey he got there.

Fixed that for you.

Cavendish has got a good set of teeth which probably means someone else knocked out the originals............maybe. Actually his teeth are better than his interviews but he looks like he has the sprint form back at the right time. A few more stage wins coming up for the Manx Missile.

Solid stage for Cadel, not sure about the teams day on the front but they looked strong. My money is still on the quirky Aussie.

The primary thing here is how funny people think the incident is. Your reaction is so predictable I'm surprised that you didn't post a thread immediately to counter all the potential posts that you just knew were sure to come.

I don't think I've seen a single Tour where the leader didn't lash out at media people or others grabbing at them for pictures or whatever...after 6 hours of stress and bumping the last thing you need is some press lamprey grabbing your shoulder to improve his photo.
This is nothing new.

Of course. Every time Evans sneezes now it becomes Utube worthy. Maybe that says something about how bland some of his rivals are ? Some people have short memories. Armstrong and Hinault also had their moments post race especially with journalists.
