I think Cadel is one of the only one to get through the first week unscathed. Only the Schlecks, Basso and Klöden also managed that.

Knowing Evans however, he might as well crash in the 1st mt stage like last year and still be done with. Especially because in the mountains I don't rate the BMC team and they have lesser guys to keep him in front of all crashes.

On the flat BMC is fine, they've proven that...but in the hills and mountains? Hmm.

At least he's supposed to be able to pedal himself to the front then. If not, he'll be settling for the podium at best.
