I don't get many predictions or things right when looking at cycling but I just knew it.

i have to say i was laughing so hard for the first 15km of the TT.

I was not laughing at andy for losing so much time so quick. i always thought he'd lose around 2 minutes to cadel in the TT (i did think he'd be alot better than his brother though, that was a surprise. great ride for frank really).

i was laughing at all the people who said cadel was going to crack almost every day of this tour. I was laughing at the guys that thought i was a fly by july poster when i said cadel was the strongest rider this tour and wouldn't crack.

Well Done. Cadel was the only one who went out with a plan to win this tour. Everyone else was rolling the dice. Cadel was using his head.

Cadel (and his fan)'s biggest challenge now is the fact that Cadel has so much negative history. He did have his demons before, he did benefit from other's work, he did flatter to deceive, but the reality is, in this tour he has turned a new leaf, and can't be accused of anything negative imho. Hopefully this is the new Cadel Evans and he can gain a newfound respect from all of his detractors.

Really happy for Evans, after the disappointments and the amount of ridicule and vitriol he's copped. Glad my pessimism was unfounded, he's earned this.

I do feel a bit for Andy & AC but let's face it, they've got plenty of opportunities ahead.

Yes, it was an early call by the OP, and yes, he may have got lucky... but that was some serious ****-kicking Cadel gave to the schleckettes last night... maybe Andy becomes the new Cadel.. forever 2nd? Maybe Andy has been listening to too many people calling him the 2nd best stage racer in the world (even though he's never won one???). Personally I find it hard to see him ever winning Le Tour... If the real (read non-Giro participant) AC turns up then I cannot see Andy beating him (or Cadel)... and if they add more individual TT kms... he's toast.

Gunna sing that Anthem long, loud and hard.
