Thanks!
It's vertical stripes that are slimming lolHe's still there, Those stripes would suit him, and they are horizontal so they will give him the illusion of being slim!
The thing that I liked the most is that they at least tried . First put Quintana in the early break and then send the stronger riders later like Martinez and Betancur.Chaves also looked good until GETTING another mechanical with 11 kms to go - Considering the parcours, Columbia must be happy with their performance.
I guess he earned himself a contract today, maybe on a pct team, but still.
A personal source told me that he would go to UAE. He is an ex-pro but not sure where he got his information from.If today's performance is not worthy of a WT contract, then I don't know what is.
I still don't know if I would sign him if I was a WT team. Sure, he pops up every once in awhile with a good result, but the lack of consistent professionalism would bother me considering he's not someone who pulls in big results anymoreIf today's performance is not worthy of a WT contract, then I don't know what is.
VDP Bananito showdown, you heard it here first

Yeah, he's been better this year but I still don't quite trust him and his results aren't so stellar that I'd take a chance. The thing is that if you look at his results this year, that has not been a problem at all.
The paradox seems to be that what has made him succesful in this race, in particular, will ultimately make him less succesful in 99% of all the other races.I still don't know if I would sign him if I was a WT team. I think UAE could really work for him. Stephens could be the type of director Betancur needs, and he understands Hispanic riders from his years at Caisse d'Epargne.I still don't know if I would sign him if I was a WT team. Chaves cashed in on Australian/MTS good will. He was riding shotgun with the likes of Durbridge, Bauer, Juul Jensen, Haig and Matthews for as long as possible. Can't blame him though, Impey did too.Chaves also looked good until GETTING another mechanical with 11 kms to go - Considering the parcours, Columbia must be happy with their performance.
