Yup, when a famous rider does it it is extremely funny, but when a rider not known much does this I get sad as well, perhaps it would be the only win of his/her

Could be it chalked up to a beginner's mistake? Being so excited about (finally) beating Kittel and Cavendish in a direct sprint that he forgot the part where you actually have to be first all the way across the line...

I'm sure he will learn from it, It's never nice but better to do it now than in a bigger race in the future.

Yep, push come to shove I think he loses it anyway. Kittel took it by half a wheel and Ewan was only starting to post up. It would've thisclose, though.
