Like I said . Any hard GT and Froome always has a bad day . I do think he will be strong enough to hang though .
Once again giving a sound beating by Bertie a rider who his riding great but not the rider of old.
He will be missed next year . It will be back to robot racing.
What did you Froome fans think of his post interview. He kept repeating the same thing "bounce back"
Is it a bluff and he's blown it or do you think he will bounce back ?
Do you fear one of Bertie's long range attacks ?
Nibs looks a real threat ....
I cant speak for all of Froome's fans but for me personally Froome could come in last place it doesnt matter to me as this is just a prep race to maintain excellent form into the next season. The real excitement in Madrid for me personally is the end of Alberto of Pinto the most overhyped overrated rider of all time. Vete Alberto.
WOW you're pathetic... :)

Code:
in spite of everything, I think he will attack.
on the final climb will try to put down its 400 watts( as He did in the first week)
We will see if the legs are agree

Legs finally said Yes

What is racing going to be like without Bertie. Just watching Froome being towed up every climb and attacking in the last km or 2. I suspect your a big Froome fan and once Bertie goes there is no one else to put a spanner in the works the way Bertie does. The most attacking and exciting rider perhaps of all time and still kicking as£ right up till the last pedal turns. What a shame that your hate has let you miss out on the joy of watching such a great rider.
We can only hope Someone else fills his shoes or we are stuck with robot GT's for the next season or 3.
He will be sadly missed by all except a few haters. 2014 the dauphine , Froome and Bertie full gas ,does not get much better than that.
i have to correct you dauphine 2014 alberto contador was not at his bets or full gas , while Froome was see some picture of ac condiction

I really think perhaps it's time you actually started reading posts and not making up your own conclusions .
I pointed out " that stage " of the dauphine where Bertie and Froome went full gas and over the line together. Did not mention anything about them being at their best . But now you mention it I think they pretty much were. That's my opinion.
If you don't know what stage I'm talking about then that's even more reason to engage your brain before you post.

I bet every time Bertie attacked today your heart was pumping like crazy " nooooooooo"
I think all the attacks Bertie has being doing over these few weeks proves without a shadow of a doubt that he his the strongest rider . Absolutely killing it and whatever happens he leaves a big empty space that a rider like Froome or almost anyone could never fill in a million years. One man vs sky and they fear him so much. A legend.
You gotta hand it to Froome he recovered well , I did say I think he can hang on but still some hard racing to come . His team mates did well handling all the Bertie attacks . It's important for them to recover as well . Froome gets isolated early over the next 2 days he can say goodbye to the vuelta . I'm not sure if nibs can win it but Froome can certainly loose it.

I was thinking that yesterday during the interview, in apparent tranquility, he said: I'll bounce back.
at least 3 times in 2 minutes.
Well, he was in the word. pretty impressive

Someone mentioned that Froome may not have been feeling well in yesterday's stage. Did anyone notice how much he was coughing after the stage and during the post-stage ceremony yesterday. He didn't look comfortable although he was smiling. I mentioned it to my wife as it was very noticeable.

He's always coughing after hard efforts. When he looks like this it's time to worry:

Take away Froome from the super strong Team Sky and place him in one of the other teams, would he still be as dominant?
The best riders tend to get the best teams. Froome gets a team like he has because he's the best rider.

You ask whether Froome would be dominant on another team. Probably not. But would that Sky team ride with such conviction for any other rider. Again probably not.

They would ride for whoever they are paid for. Look at Landa ( he ain't happy) for instance he's been the best climber but does the job he's paid to do just like Froome did for WIggo. Simple you sign for Sky knowing it's all about the tour and everything else is just advertising. Following the same template as US postal/ Armstrong. If you dont pull your weight as a domestic then your gone and so are the big wages. Don't be fooled by the nice guy image of Froome. He struggles to control it when he loses ,he just repeats the same things . He does not like losing and he's a pram thrower for sure. One day people will understand that what they see on the telly is not always the truth.

As Kwait has said plenty of times, the team rides for him in alot of the 1 day races and he's happy to return the favour in the Grand Tours, Quid Pro Quo etc.

So... kiss of death. From tomorrow Pantani's GT double won't be the most recent anymore!
Possibly. But Pantani's will still be the most recent Giro-Tour double. Something I don't expect a rider to attempt seriously again for a decade after recent failures. The next person to do it probably isn't born yet.

Almost no one likes Froome.

Could you provide evidence from the peloton for this assertion?

I'm pretty sure these numbers are correct:

TOP 5 AFTER STAGE 19
1.FRO
2.NIB@1.37
3.KEL@2.17
4.ZAK@2.29
5.CON@3.34

TOP 5 AFTER STAGE 19 ON 1ST REST DAY
1.FRO
4.NIB@1.17
11.KEL@2.31
10.ZAK@2.15
13.CON@3.32

Just the interviews I watch from Flemish cycling programs... Belgian cyclists usually praise Contador and are meh about Froome. They also dislike Degenkolb a lot I've noticed.

Reads: Belgian cyclists usually praise Contador, but "meh" about Froome translates to "almost no one likes Froome".

Thinks: wtf

Looks to who's the poster: oh, it's like saying you have to breathe if you want to live.

Froome is only "Froome" in the U.K. and U.S.A. In any other place he is considered a disgrace for cycling. I personally think team $ky is the disgrace for cycling. They can have all the money in the world, but they are the most boring team.
