Laying down the rules like Hinault
Asking how much of a head start he can get in order to still finish with the group at the end.

I don't dislike CF like many on here do, but I have grown to dislike him simply because he was the loudest and longest complainer about disk brakes, and now people use his silliness as their basis for: 'the crash was caused by disk brakes.', 'would this have happened with rim brakes?' These automatic disc brakes are crashing riders right. left, and down the middle. :rolleyes:

Froome put 10 minutes today to Tao Geoghegan Hart, so he is on the way, improving day by day...It is a pity the peloton split in the long descent of Granon, he was there.

His day should be tomorrow, but as well the day of very important and strong riders, so no easy to be even top ten of the stage in a break, or top 50 following wheels without work.

The problem for him is that the team has Gee on GC, and he showed very strong today.
You know what’s funny, the problem for Gee is the fact Froome is on the team taking the spot from a useful teammate.

You know, I always wondered deep down whether Taxus was just a very elaborate troll over many years (or what is commonly known as someone who is taking the p*ss)... & here we have the definite answer. Well done, well done. Bravo.

It's pretty damn funny tbh but unfortunately for us (& the laughter we get here), I really doubt Froome will be going to the Tour. There's no way IPT will take him based on his current level.

Taxus was banging the Froome drum on forodeciclismo forums back in 2008, I'm not even joking.

Here is a blog post he made 11 years ago;

If he's trolling then he is surely up there with the greatest in the history of the internet.

The detail.....Granier to Granon. Very well elaborated.

Seriously. He has to show more this 2 days... It is sad fir me, but if this is his level there is another guys deserved more. Last year wanst that way.

Good points for Froome, of course if he showed more Next 2 days..is that a trhee weeks race IS better for him, It is that he improve much with hot weather...they st here at 20-25..I mean 30-35, when hot is a problem for others, and he has lot of margin to improve in 20 days...
And of course there is the fact Froome is more mediatic than another riders for the team, but that just count in the case he is at the dame level than others guys...they want to sprint with Ackerman ( and to go with the other Germán Rider helping him, they have 2 guys for GC, Derek and Bennet...so, it is difficult, Froome is now worse than Fuglsang, Neilants, Theuns,...but he is going to improve these days at Dauphine, and much more if he ride le Tour.
what I mean id that is not only hid level at Dauphine that counts, becouse le Tour is another race, but he has to show more than this to deserve start.

And I assumi g Woods is not in the plans of the team..other way I see really difficult for him to be... But he didnt ride since 4 days of Tirreno, he deserves the oportunity to see him improving...

So, another dud yesterday and not in the break today...time for the Dawg to prepare himself for riding the Czech Tour.

Tbh I hope IPT doesn't really go for GC in the TdF...even with Gee...but most definitely not with Froome.
