Aware? Do you mean this word? We are aware if journalist ask question on doping. If journalist ask question which sportman say they are not completely pur? Bizarre question.

Maybe our petit Gregory cannot say this, but Hoy, I think yes.

I don't think he's doing anything the others aren't, but he's still a great big fat hypocrite. He definitely tests positive for ridiculous amounts of smug.

This thread tests positive for sock puppetry and ridiculous amounts of bashing the evil empire, again.

Only losers like Neil Campbell dope

"i remember Chris phoning home (says his mother, Carol) and he was very upset; they were devastated for Neil Campbell, because they genuinely thought he was seriously Ill".

unlike the road- the podiums are untainted

'evidence' will take the usual form
but i think it's interesting that the track team were 'devastated' for Neil Campbell when he tested +ve because they thought first of testicular cancer..

either
a) they were as a group very naive about doping possibility
b) they had a heightened sesce of worry about testicular cancer

Bearing in mind the timing of the positive in 2000, it isn't a massive leap for them to have wondered about that possibility. Were talking about a teammate not an opponent.

Nandrolone? Testosterone?

sadly agree, sigh, and it's getting very boring.

that said, i'm sticking up for Chris Hoy. he's got a wicked sense of humour, a Scot through and through.

Some of the track guys have legs as big if not bigger than pro bodybuilders, and we know how clean bodybuilders are....

lol. pathetic. you probably are bittered for having no muscles on your own body

It was a question more than anything, I'm not as familiar with the track guys as the road guys. That picture didn't have any names attributed to it I didn't even know if it was a staged photo from bodybuilders as as I've seen it before.

I suggested Nandrolone because I've heard most anabolic steroids work on androgen receptors some of which die out in puberty and particularly those in the legs. Nandrolone partly works on progesterone receptors and for that reason causes more muscle mass in the legs than other anabolic drugs. I suggested Testosterone also because you can use that and pass a drug test days later whereas I believe Nandrolone shows up on tests for a while later.

This is it. Hoy is all about technique anyway and a great bike rider despite being outgunned on top end horsepower usually.

Look at Gregory Bauge for a joke cyclist.

Did they ever sort out Nandrolone testing after all the controversy e.g. Christie, Merele Ottey, Dougie Walker (Dougie was a nice guy too)- I would have thought Nadrolone at least back then (Walker was 1998) was worth the risk given the testing was highly suspect....

Not sure what you mean?

I remember the early photos of Chris Hoy, his upper thights then were more like his calfs are now in this picture.

However going off point, should Hoy be coming across as whiter than white, like most of the sky team do. Wouldn't the proper thing be to keep their council or better still do as Federer does.....

""I’d like a sport without doping, but it’s an illusion. There’s so much money involved, this pushes people to take drugs. I am convinced that doping doesn’t help tennis. Only a minority think differently. We can be submitted to checks at any moment and I believe that it’s the right thing to do. I prefer to know that I am playing against a clean opponent. Unfortunately it’s not always so".

Quote from Federer about doping in Tennis.

Hoy's crime is having big thighs and being good, Bauge is a known as a cheat/ test evader and getting burnt off by Jason Kenny at the Olympics.

Must be the reason why track cycling is not been taking seriously. Even Schwarzenegger could be a trackie.

Can we take any of cycling seriously these days, all has become mickey mouse. With mickey mouse insinuations that they are doing it all on five a day and green tea. It isn't really sport it's Hollywood.
