Nevertheless, taking DW's oint, you do realise that's putting yourself in the same bracket as Walsh. Te same guy you ridicule endlessly. Thans for admitting this. You're not that different after all.
You should have thrown away the shovel.
ol.
thehog said:Its not actually true that I ridicule Walsh. He does that all by himself![]()
His books are very good. You love to quote them and defend him, LOL! Do you really think Froome wore sandshoes?![]()
gooner said:On a serious note, if you and DW honestly think Walsh has changed his mind about doping speeds because he needs to satisfy a need for constant controversy, confrontation, and argument, I worry for you. That's the essence of the outrage machine. One of its members even admitted his intentions.
It's a unique special elite club around here for that reason.

the sceptic said:Floyd is right about Vino of course. What better way to show the middle finger to the hypocritical new generation nonsense than beating the brits at their home olympics like that? It was beautiful.
the sceptic said:Wiggins is just as much of an unrepentant doper as Vino was.
Landis point, which I agree with, is that nothing has changed in cycling and that it's absurd to have one doper celebrated as a hero of clean cycling while the other gets labeled "unrepentant".
Maybe it's time to step away from your collection of sunday times articles and realize that the british media has been running a huge propaganda campaign to make sky look as cleans as possible, and perhaps that's why people who are able to think by themselves get a little annoyed.
Nothing will make me laugh more than Astana dominating sky this year. Please make it happen vino.
gooner said:285. Selective judgement
Usually involving Sky. Trying to paint themselves as anti-doping when they're nothing of the sort. An example below of a love in with Vino/Astana. You can also add in Horner and Contador/Saxo supporters where doping in some quarters is actually encouraged.

I hope Horner, Contador, and Nibali are on Grade A, Prime #1 sh!t this year.
ChewbaccaD said:I'm rooting for Horner to p!ss off the Skybots. He's doped, and I hope he dopes enough to beat a doping Froome...and Nibali....and Wigans......and Contador.....and Evans......and...
I think the rush to get in line in the Horner line happened when, after the Vuelta, all of the Skybots came around throwing sh!t at Horner, pretending their guy's win was more legitimate because the Atomic Jock Race is a key indicator of TdF success...anyway
Like everyone says "AMERICA FU*K YEA!!!"

gooner said:I didn't even mention your name yet the response still flew in.
I wonder why.
gooner said:De Canio's comments, Rider 15(?) and chasing down Hincapie during the Tour is more than enough.

I am not like people here who go around accusing people of doping on the basis of a great performance when they have nothing to back it up.
With Contador it is totally different as we had the story with OP and people always had their suspicions on him even before his clenbuterol positive. There is nothing suspicious about Wiggins other than great performances which people love to question around here.

We assume he doped because he went from hopelessly average climber to hanging with Lance.

1 day to the Dawg going full ***!
I wish he'd lost some time at this point so he can punch out a 7w.
Go Dawg! Maybe he'll zig zag across the line for old times sake?![]()

Hypocrisy
Doping isn't the problem.I don't care if guys dope, it's the hypocrisy I don't like.

That was vehemently anti-doping and it was'nt done for PR either. Because of this I am inclined to believe him a lot more than others.

First is the fact that Lance is a genetically superior athlete who competed at an elite professional level for nearly 20 years, beginning with his teenage triathlon career. In 1993 (before drugs like EPO rose to prominence in cycling), at the age of 21, on the rainy roads of Oslo, Norway, he blasted away from the cycling?s greatest star ? 5-time Tour de France winner Miguel Indurain ? and the rest of the sport?s top athletes to win the world championships. In a literal sense, dopers are trying to obtain Lance?s natural body chemistry that he revealed to the world at the age of 16 when he raced the world?s top triathletes, at 21 when he ascended to the highest level of cycling and into his 30?s as he won the Tour year after year.
