Walsh doesn't post here. Hence the definition "a group of posters". ;)

LOL! haha!

Nevertheless, taking DW's point, you do realise that's putting yourself in the same bracket as Walsh. The same guy you ridicule endlessly. Thanks for admitting this. You're not that different after all.

You should have thrown away the shovel.

Lol.

Its not actually true that I ridicule Walsh. He does that all by himself

His books are very good. You love to quote them and defend him, LOL! Do you really think Froome wore sandshoes?

On a serious note, if you and DW honestly think Walsh has changed his mind about doping speeds because he needs to satisfy a need for constant controversy, confrontation, and argument, I worry for you. That's the essence of the outrage machine. One of its members even admitted his intentions.

It's a unique special elite club around here for that reason.

propaganda machine - an elite club which sets the agenda which will be pushed by the obedient media and eaten up by the mindless bots who are unable to think for themselves. See also: Walsh, David.

Irony - David Walsh @DavidWalshST

Read transcript of Dan Roan/BBC interview with LA. Interesting. If only BBC had been as active on story back then as they are now. If only..

285. Selective judgement

Usually involving Sky. Trying to paint themselves as anti-doping when they're nothing of the sort. An example below of a love in with Vino/Astana. You can also add in Horner and Contador/Saxo supporters where doping in some quarters is actually encouraged.

the sceptic said:
Floyd is right about Vino of course. What better way to show the middle finger to the hypocritical new generation nonsense than beating the brits at their home olympics like that? It was beautiful.

the sceptic said:
Wiggins is just as much of an unrepentant doper as Vino was.

Landis point, which I agree with, is that nothing has changed in cycling and that it's absurd to have one doper celebrated as a hero of clean cycling while the other gets labeled "unrepentant".

Maybe it's time to step away from your collection of sunday times articles and realize that the british media has been running a huge propaganda campaign to make sky look as cleans as possible, and perhaps that's why people who are able to think by themselves get a little annoyed.

Nothing will make me laugh more than Astana dominating sky this year. Please make it happen vino.

Predictable tosh

I'm not a Sky fan. I'm not bothered whether you believe me. You're in cloud cuckoo land if you think I've defended the hiring of Leinders or Rogers riding there. Whatever Froome/Sky might be up to, if it's the case, them getting caught can't come soon enough. I have never encouraged them or any other team to dope. Never will either, unlike you. Plenty of respected posters think Froome/Sky are doping and come up with fair and valid reasoning to substantiate their view. Others think they "know" while not being in the inner circle. These people are only interested in self-vindication. If I think their logic behind their opinions are flawed, I'm going to continue to point it out. That doesn't mean I'm a fanboy or defending the team's possible doping. I have done similiar with guys like Quintana at the Giro last year when stupid reasoning was put up for calling him a doper after his MTT win. Quintana might be doped to the gills but to me it was nonetheless stupid reasoning. The same with Kittel. I'm not a fanboy of these guys either. Do draw the distinction between picking faults in one's argument and actually supporting and defending a team.

Touched a nerve I see with the Horner reference. Gladly so. It was meant to. What was it again:

I'd forgotten that bit of "sportsmanship" by the Stiff Upper Lippers. Makes the incident even more distasteful.

I hope Horner, Contador, and Nibali are on Grade A, Prime #1 sh!t this year.

ChewbaccaD said:
I'm rooting for Horner to p!ss off the Skybots. He's doped, and I hope he dopes enough to beat a doping Froome...and Nibali....and Wigans......and Contador.....and Evans......and...

I think the rush to get in line in the Horner line happened when, after the Vuelta, all of the Skybots came around throwing sh!t at Horner, pretending their guy's win was more legitimate because the Atomic Jock Race is a key indicator of TdF success...anyway

Like everyone says "AMERICA FU*K YEA!!!"

287.You jumped the fence baby. - Compromise your position so much based on a deep rooted hatred(see above examples)

Even afterwards they still have the brass neck to think they come from a position of strength.

I am not like people here who go around accusing people of doping on the basis of a great performance when they have nothing to back it up.

With Contador it is totally different as we had the story with OP and people always had their suspicions on him even before his clenbuterol positive. There is nothing suspicious about Wiggins other than great performances which people love to question around here.

293. Presenting falsehoods - Something regularly done in the clinic when posters have an insecurity about their opinions and a poster sees through their BS and calls them on it

List includes:

Calling someone a Sky fan, bot, troll, or whatever when responding to seriously flawed logic and make believe stuff(who can forget Ferrari working for Sky and Leinders still on the books nowadays)
Calling someone British when they're 100% Irish
Accusing someone of watching cycling only since 2011 when that said person has been watching well, well before that
Lance fan because you have the audacity to criticise that light and shining armour Landis
Accused of mainly criticising Landis because of Wiggins when the clear and evident purpose was to do with Lemond, Prentice Steffen/whistleblower and Landis' past shenanigans
Accused of funding doping programs because you subscribe to Sky Sports

*Even if I was a Sky fan, why wouldn't I declare it? Because I'm afraid of the clinic(puff out cheeks, roll eyes back). Don't flatter yourselves. All these falsehoods are great value. It's been a blast. Keep it up.

294. Sandshoes - Something Froome lied about wearing to hide his doping program

295. Basso/Armstrong battle in the Tour Something Froome got wrong in the year to hide his doping program

We assume he doped because he went from hopelessly average climber to hanging with Lance.

That was vehemently anti-doping and it was'nt done for PR either. Because of this I am inclined to believe him a lot more than others.

Reminds me of those "Why Lance is clean" blogs from the early 2000's.

Vomit. Gooner had become a Livestrong rep in Sky uniform.

First is the fact that Lance is a genetically superior athlete who competed at an elite professional level for nearly 20 years, beginning with his teenage triathlon career. In 1993 (before drugs like EPO rose to prominence in cycling), at the age of 21, on the rainy roads of Oslo, Norway, he blasted away from the cycling?s greatest star ? 5-time Tour de France winner Miguel Indurain ? and the rest of the sport?s top athletes to win the world championships. In a literal sense, dopers are trying to obtain Lance?s natural body chemistry that he revealed to the world at the age of 16 when he raced the world?s top triathletes, at 21 when he ascended to the highest level of cycling and into his 30?s as he won the Tour year after year.
