Clinic Bibliography

Page 3 - Get up to date with the latest news, scores & standings from the Cycling News Community.
71: Evidence - Invariably conflated with "proof" by defenders of obvious dopers. As in "There is no evidence that Armstrong/Wiggins/Froome is doping."

72: Groupthink - Used by defenders of obvious dopers to create a feeling that they are iconoclasts, swimming righteously against the tide instead of being blinded by fandom and oblivious to the mountain of evidence against their favorite rider.

74: cleans - clean.

75: Skybot - a poster who dedicates all his time to defend everything sky and british beyond all logic. See also: Walsh

Do you really think that phrase was coined here? Some of you need to leave the forum once in a while. There's a whole world out there.

78. Some of you need to leave the forum once in a while. There's a whole world out there: An admonition thrown by jilted fanboys, who are angry about people discussing the doping of their cherished rider/team. They appear to be completely oblivious that people can do multiple things in a day, probably owing to the fact that they sit and stare at posters of Armstrong/Wigans/Froome/Sky Train all day, while day dreaming that they're in the action.

79. If you hate cycling so much, why do you post?: Favorite fanboy line when the argument that their favorite rider/team is a doped-up farce is overwhelming them. Again, they appear to be completely oblivious of the fact that human beings can care about something enough to want to see it changed for the better, and can accomplish a multitude of tasks in any given day.

80. You guys need to get out and ride your bikes.: See numbers 78 and 79

69:On a Tuesday When some one makes a claim that something is going to happen which then turns out to be complete hogwash.

Long term posters can correct if wrong.

101. Stop this doping view of everything, Posted on a forum about doping but used a defense of favorite rider/athlete.

Exhibit A, Gooner on Radcliffe.

85. Andreu Strategies - The infamous clinic contrarian's fictitious PR firm name made up to discredit all things Betsy. There were T-Shirts made, I think select sizes are still available.

88: BPC - Acronym for our most notorious troll (actual troll, not just someone who disagrees with people), initially formed from (I think) British Pro Cycling. Later morphed into Ban Pro Cycling and probably 50 other forms of sock-puppetry. Staggering stamina for a troll. All time.

Matt Decanio's self-proscribed handle, like Ricco's cobra, it stemmed from Johan Bruyneel stealing his virginity by popping his cherry with one of Bill cosby's roofies and waking up with anal fissures.

92. Sticky: a thread maintained at the top of the list that usually starts as a good idea and then swiftly descends into the usual bickering and baiting present elsewhere within The Clinic.

94. Feigned Superiority: Pretending that you're soooo above the topic of the thread by pointing out that every other thread in The Clinic is the same argument, when you posted on all those threads too.(Irony as it relates to your entry completely intentional, so this post is less caustic than you're likely to take it)

94. Names for dope and doping - anything and everything related or unrelated to cycling, from training hard to altitude to Tenerife to cadence up to pillows and handwashing (special thread as well)

95.Ban - punishment that is either not long enough or unjustified (for the fanbois of the banned cyclist)

96. New clean era riders beating "dirty era" times - used as an argument proving the peloton is as doped as ever (also Brailsford's prediction that should somehow support his statements about the use of science, marginal gains, wormkilling, pillows and handwashing in SKY team)

97. Masters fattie doper - tons of evidence in granfondo doping related threads suggests how easy it is to get and use PEDs and also avoid being caught even if you are riding just for fun (with obvious implications towards pro peloton)

98: tailwind (to explain anything that's awkward)

99. Lunatic (wrongly used to describe anyone who says you can't win a GT without doping)
