Bäcksted's co-commentator asking if there's "mechanic training" where they have to sit for four hours, then sprint.

And now he's trying to find a polite way to say that Aniolkowski is a bad climber.

I just watched final stage of tour of holland today, how refreshing it was to listen to hutch and jose been, jose fairly knows her dutch cycling and as hutch went to my old school cant say anything bad bout him, the auld bluffer. Maybe Hatch and Adam should take a refresher course and listen in to this and see how it should be done before the new season starts.
And another thing... taped cyclo cross , watched the mens race , but was treated to world rally championship instead of womans race, seems Tnt just carrying on the way Eurosport got on , so be warned

Yes, but they don't indicate the channel number, or lack of a channel number, on the new app. And their customer service :)laughing::laughing::laughing:) agents deny that there is any such thing as advertisement-free coverage of anything.
On Eurosport I could generally decide from picture style which was the 'non TV' advert free stream . Sadly on Discovery+ it's a game of chance as both images follow similar style with no consistency, sometimes it's to the right then left?

Anyone with tips to decide which is which without opening the stream and then backtracking to change.

if there are different start times, (usually only a minute or two different), I believe the later start is likely to be the ad-free version, and the one to put on "My list".

But if it is after the start, I just open both, and close whichever has a channel number showing.

Disappointed that there was no ad free stream for CX today from Merksplas,
women's race started with 2 streams listed, 1 quickly disappeared luckily 1 left was the online stream , men's race only saw the TNT1 stream left so I had to grin and bear ads unless I watched later FF through ads. Hope this was a 1 off?

I was just wondering what UK viewers did this year, and what you're planning for next year? I got a half price offer for TNT when they first put their prices up, then cancelled it when that expired at the start of September. I then used a VPN and various different services to watch the rest of the Vuelta and the Canadian and Italian races. It was fine, but now I'm wondering what to do next year. I might subscribe to TNT for a month in time for MSR, Flanders and Roubaix, because it's nice to have all the build up and excitement in a language I understand.

depends what kind of deals they offer and how much it will cost me, I cant afford to spend £31 a month extra, on top of Sky on top of the licence fee just to watch tv occasionally, given a fair bit of what I want to watch ends up on their online service in favour of whatever tedious snooker match from china, or rugby (why in the hell has that been taking two of their channels recently showing the same goddam game at the same time!!) is shown instead..

I mean I dont know if it was coincidence that just this years races werent that interesting, must see events, or that it was just the switch from basically 6 channels down to 4, meant alot less of it was shown, it felt a bit retro often hunting for the highlight sessions in the planner for the womens racing especially, but I didnt find myself glued to watching TNT as I had done in previous years.

which factors into how much am I prepared to pay to subscribe to these things.
