In fact having been based at Gerona for so many of the 'triumphant' seasons, means that perhaps the whole establishment of Spanish cycling dreads what damning revelations, not only about cycling, but all of Spanish sport, LA might tell.

Contador again comes out to bootlick Armstrong and the doping culture. I have been a big fan of Spanish cycling over the years, from Heras to Mayo to Contador, but I am disgusted with them and Spanish sports in general. I've defended and praised Contador here, time and time again. No longer.

Lance hasn't even come close to being humiliated to the level he deserves. His defenders, like Contador, deserve the same humiliation. They're the type of people who reinforce the barrier that keeps clean cyclists like Mercier out of the sport.

He's sure left a legacy alright! What is is with these people that say sure he was doping but no-one caught him with a test! It doesn't matter C*ntador got caught in a test and it still took the UCI (Yes the UCI amazingly!) to appeal a decision to let him off by Spanish authorities. He ate the only cow in Europe apparently injected by steroids. Why wasn't there outrage from Spanish farmer's if it had been anyone else suggesting that their cattle was unfit to eat... anyway blah blah..
