Belgian blue. It has some sort of genetic mutation, myostatin or something like that. Very rare in humans but it happens.

Who did he **** off?
JRTinMA said:All true except he tested positive two days in a row. I have nothing against Lemond, I would much rather say he got me into cycling than the guy who actually did. I believe it highly personal at this point and not all about the sport as he states. I have no problem with that btw, if LA did to me what he did to Lemond I can't say what i would have done. Just stop with this is about cycling and say I want to ruin that doping POS! I would become a Lemond fanboy. Instead he comes off a bit inconsistent as I think he did in the interview. He couldn't go a few words without mentioning a "certain team". I respect a good thirst for blood when its warranted.
roundabout said:Err, no. It's not about Armstrong. It's about an "anti-doping advocate" reacting to a positive by one of the more suspicious riders out there like an average keyboard warrior.
Maybe Lemond should ask himself why Contador would suddenly have a yearning for a steak from Irun that he can't control for contamination?
Major risk here, given all the examples of doped cattle in Spain. Really unprofessional.
He should have stopped at "if it's on the list it's on the list".
JRTinMA said:Um, the poster I commented on said he was negative the day following the positive. I don't think you read the original. He said he was negative immediately preceding and immediately following the positive, this is not true. Word smith it how you like he tripped a positive the next day.
hektoren said:The DEHP plasticizer (as mentioned by the German ARD-journo) possibly found in the samples, doesn't necessarily stem from blood bags. I wish some people wouldn't wet themselves with excitement over nothing. DEHP can also be found in abundance in some makes of PVC cling film, and is readily absorbed by fatty foods like cheese/fat fish etc. and thus enter Conta's body. The plasticizer is a dead end.

Josephine Onyia, Spanish athlete, tested positive for clembuterol with a smaller concentration figure than Contador. The Spanish Federation cleared her but IAAF took the case to CAS and she was banned for 2 years.

Wiki says methylhexaneamine but it also says that it was added to the WADA prohibited list in 2009.
I'm confused.![]()
christianpetrin said:It´s hard to believe that Contador doped with such a detectable product, but he's already proved he doesn't play fair (remember him attacking while Schleck was trying to fix his dropped chain), so I figure it is quite possible he's not playing fair again (by doping).

After reading what other cases he has defended I have to agree with you. Bad move Conti.
Thanks. Nice info.icefire said:Found what I was looking for:

according to the video from RTVE, Jose luis lopez Leon-Director/Organizer of Vuleta a Castilla y Leon-did purchase the meat on his way to France & brought it to Contador to prepare a meal. According to AC- he consumed the meat the 20th during supper & the remaining next day for lunch, so he wouldn't spoil/waste it....
PS: after watching a couple of the videos offered by the Spanish Television they are surprisingly making strong commentaries about the case & aren't very supportive of AC at all...
icefire said:Video commentary sounds neutral to me.
I'm just puzzled to hear that UCI wanted to hide the case but decide to make it public because of leaks to German press![]()
You mean no mention of how auscyclefan94 got that free meal?mastersracer said:No mention of how the story broke...
