Sorry for the late response, I was having my breakfast.

Don't you like Clarke, considering he's from NSW as well?
Personally, I don't like Warner in tests that much. In ODIs and T20s he should be an automatic choice, I believe.

It's tough to get used to and the current Ranji champions Rajasthan were in the Plate division last year, the equivalent of County Championships division 2.

The elite and plate divisions are held simultaneously. Both elite and plate consist of 2 groups.

The top 2 teams of each group in the Plate division go to the semi finals and the winners of the semi finals head into the elite championships.

The elite championships work similar to the plate except the fact that there a quarter finals (3 top teams from each group and the elite championships finalists), then it's a knockout.

Yeah i know he is NSW but does not feel like it as he never plays for the state side and frankly the guy is a class A d**k

True, he doesn't play too much and he is a bit of a ****. If I'm correct Watson plays for NSW as well right? CA has to take some blame for not forcing them to play at least 2 shield matches a season.

Mash Eagles beat the Rocks by 70 runs yesterday.
Eagles vs Rhinos and Matebeleland Tuskers vs Mountaineers today.

NZ radio ads are pretty irritating.

Yeah he does, but only because his partner had moved to Sydney.

Khawaja run out.

game in the balance, tho you feel these next two wickets are big. Australia probably need to be 200 when the 5th wicket falls.

You're not the only one miffed with Ponting

From the small box in the corner in cricinfo
malcolmconn:
#cricket #ausvnz Ponting now needs to score 200 to make up for the dreadful run out of Khawaja (38) straight after tea. #dreadful! aus 3-91

danbrettig:
Whatever Ponting scores will need to have Khawaja's tally subtracted from it. Far too rash a single. #cricket #ausvnz

I really respect Malcolm Conn after his level headed article after the Perth test where he said it was swing and not aggression that took the wickets for the bowlers.

Clarke batting at 5 seems a bit too far down for me, especially because Hussey's at 6.

Problem's in the bedroom? goodness sake, just when I thought that the ads couldn't get worse.

Hint: It is because he can't bat. If the hype he gets is relative to where he should be batting then he should be at number 3. Imagine if he

I think part of your post got deleted.
I don't agree that he's a bad batsman, he's a t**t but he's very good as a batsman. He's also not a new ball batsman, which is essential for batting at 3. There's also nobody in Australia who is a better player of spin in Australia than Clarke (outside the team). Let's not forget 1st test South Africa, Lord's 2nd innings.

yeah have to agree he scores runs. do not like him as a person and think as player he puts too much value in the old drop and run type of play but he has saved Australia on a few occasions.

would have him at 4 though

Four seems perfect for him and five for Hussey. Ponting could do a Waugh and drop to 6 if he desperately needs form. Of course, Ponting dropping down would need two good openers, which Australia seem to lack.

Damien Wright in NZ colours just doesn't seem right.

Clarke gone, bowled leaving the ball. No ball, I mentioned it earlier, Dougie Bracewell has a no ball problem.

.

Yes.

Hussey and Clarke must be 4/5 (order doesn't matter too much). They are the two most reliable batsmen in the team, one of them at six is too low.

Which is why only three of the current top four should have played... unless you want to bat Khawaja at six.

True, 4/5 is good for them.

Stunner by WI- they stumbled along to 9/170 before Rampaul went mental with Roach and scored 86* and added 99 with Roach for the 10h wicket in 14 overs. 6 4's and 6 6's

Final score 269/9

Today, I found out that Darren Bravo isn't a great fielder.

Michael Clarke has had a lot of luck in this innings and Doug Bracewell deserves a wicket.
I don't know what Ross Taylor said to Bracewell after that first over he bowled but I'd love to find out. It sure has worked! He's got it tailing away a little and pitching it up nicely.

Hey ACF, the guy who can't bat is heading to his second hundred in three tests so far this summer....

Not a fan of him as a person but I think he gets some unfair criticism as a cricketer.

Oh please! It was against New Zealand and yes he did play well but when I see it on a consistent basis and when the selectors show some spine and drop players like him when they play **** maybe I will give him and the selectors less of a hard time. He also bats lower down the order as well. Number 5 is where all batsmen want bat whether it is at an international level or local club level.
