There are more guys like that. Thomas De Gendt doesn't even do a warmup before a TT. For some guys that just works, maybe if they spend more time on their TT bikes they'll actually do worse.

He does actually warm-up before a time trial... Just not on the rollers like most cyclists do.

Disappointing result from Menchov... +1:35 not good, not good....

Judging from how he did in the "mountains" so far, I didn't expect much better anyway. As far as I remember there's no real hard stages in the first week of TDF though, so if this is gonna be like last year's Giro and Vuelta, where he sucks in the beginning as is really strong towards the end, it might not be so bad though
