I can hardly believe that if you see his earlier longer ITT's at the pro's so far. They've been largely underwhelming. I don't believe he can do a fantastic 53km out of the blue. So I'm pretty sure he will blow up
I think over there in California there was definitely a wind change, for the worse. He could have been a bit closer there. But still, top-5 here would be pretty surprising.

He passed 3 riders in the first 21 km, according to Erik Dekker.

With windy conditions you can be lucky over a short distance and find the strongest gusts coincide with you being in an exposed area, etc. Should even itself out later on if that is the case.

This is also impressive.

Absolutely, he has obviously worked very hard.

Regardless of the wind change Kelderman must have started like a madmen

I am calling wind as well.

The GC is effectively in prologue order, little wonder than the times are getting quicker as the best TTers are off now.

Martin catching some big gusts on that descent.

it's hilarious when someone compares cancellara's class at descending with martin's.

as soon as canc get's into top shape, tony is destroyed.

Already losing 15 seconds to JvdB and 30 to Kelderman doesn't bode well

Durbridge won the prologue and he aimed for this TT.

Sure he is 21 and it's his first (?) long TT, but his time should have been more representative instead of being almost VDB fast at the first check.
