He was Dutch champion U23 last year, don't underestimate him But he's never ridden such a long TT, so I didn't expect him to ride like this.

He was 8 seconds faster than Ricco.
24% gradient in a ITT is a recipe for cardiac explosion.

I can hardly believe that if you see his earlier longer ITT's at the pro's so far. They've been largely underwhelming. I don't believe he can do a fantastic 53km out of the blue. So I'm pretty sure he will blow up

I agree with you.... a top 15 today will be already awesome for a young guy like him
