Evans finishes at least four places ahead of Wiggins. That's gonna be a major psychological blow.

Not so obscure anymore, is he! Allez Vichot!

Is that from the TDU? Cool stuff :)

That's a superb win by Vichot. Very hard stage today so it's impressive he still had that attack in him in the final kms.

He's going to the Tour right? Thibaut Pinot as well?

Pinot told L'Équipe that he thinks he has 20% chance to do Le Tour, 80% Vuelta.

Just checking in. Has Sky TTT'd off the front yet? I hear if they put Wiggins on the front that it would happen without them even trying.

They're too busy crapping out gold and curing poverty atm actually

Pretty sure Sky will now pull out Wiggins out of the TDF selection and put everything on the Tour de Pologne with him

saunaking assured us that no-one cared to chase. Whether Vandevelde made any impact on the gap doesn't mean they weren't bothered. Sky didn't make any ground on Boonen at Roubaix, do you think they didn't care to chase then?

Holy F people!
Nobody chased on the descent of the mortirolo. that is where he got away.
He wasn't chased because they made the calculation that since the top 4 in gc were all toghether they didnt have to worry. If de ghent was a minute down instead of 5 he would not have been allowed to escape so late in the giro
duh.

Yay for Vichot!

Only other moment of intrigue was Harmon trying to take credit for Sherwen's Law.

Dan Martin finished 17th very nice :)
That's incredibly impressive considering he barely made it to the finish line a couple of days ago. Yesterday he even said on twitter that he barely could stand due to back pain! Goes to show how tolerant to pain those guys are.

More likely, it shows how fast these guys recover. Climbing with severe back pain is really difficult, it probably wasn't as bad today.

Nice Evans vs. Wiggo pi$$ing contest on the descent. That's already more GC action than expected on this stage.

Martin was struggling at the back of the group on most of the images I've seen when it went uphill. He was just barely hanging on.

Home*Alone, 50 ToGo, BMC pursuit, SKY GONE? 9B.A.

Not a good sign if SKY tries to seek two antagonist and ambivalent objectives in the Tour. The Yellow*Man alone with 50 to GO? Wasted Team!!!!!They need to rest, step out of the Lime^Light for a while.......:D

So what's up with Westra, some sort of sickness or just no form?

Schleck even finished behind Chavanel who was dropped early on the Colombier and finished with the 9 minute group

For comparison, Jeannesson finished at 9.03 and is in a phase of preparation according to Vichot.

Edit: Comparison to others, not just Schleck.
