why all the negativity? this stage has the potential to be really interesting. if a break of 6+ riders has 10+ mins over the top i think it will be fun to watch. "in the spirit of de gent, i shall win the stage!"

Lots of names down on time now, Sky should be happy to let a break go. Can only see it coming back if a few sprinters and their teams survive.

I am more interested in the "recon" of Richemond than GC.

Strange that the Giro action didn't discourage to criticize badly designed stages. :) Typical panoramic transit stage for riders rather than for fans.

what are you talking about guys?

as you see,the gaps are already huge.that would mean just one thing, lots of this guys will attack on grand colombier,no time to wait for joux-plane.put pressure on uk postal and try go for a stage win.
i think the itt would make for a great finale of this dauphine.

let's see how sky will control this, probably they will do it easily though

So I guess based on previous stage timings, here in Australia SBS coverage will start after the climb is over making it even more clear how pointless the climb is.

I think the stage could be pretty interesting ftw just probably not for the GC.

Lots of interesting breakaway candidates who have lost sackfuls of time...

Nobody will see it.
By carbon copying stage 10 of Le Tour, (bar the final few kms) they have managed to schedule the top of the climb and the start of the earliest coverage (Rai Sport 2) to coincide. 14-40CET or there abouts. The poor french? No chance.
Wonderful.
We get all the downhill, flat and the 3rd cat.

Lazy, shoddy, Tour prep waste of a very selective climb.
Up there with the Joux Plane, but no where, on the route.

Definitely breakaway fare.

Is that the break? Voeckler or Nibali for the stage from these, or Barredo plus yellow
