After the côte de Corlier, the peloton is back together again at km 58.5.

The group can't be too big and I doubt very much that alot of them, who fell back, can get contact before the Grand Colombier

They are just very cautious with the breaks, I don't know why.
Yeah at this rate, no early break will succeed in le tour.
I wouldn't worry much. After two weeks of chasing down everything that moves they'll be empty. At least I hope so.

Would like a Jeandesboz win for my CQ team.

I don't think the stage will be that bad although I won't see it.

Navarro the best placed escapee on GC at 4:07, if he got time today and time tomorrow, he could be well up.

Devolder abandoned. Does this guy even try to finish a race sometimes these days?
He has chosen to continue his preparation for the Tour at home.

The Tour of Flanders 2013, that is.

Just wondering would it be good or bad for Wiggins tour prep if he falters either on the Colombier today, or on Joux-Plane tomorrow?

navarro is at 4.07 on GC.
He is a good climber, I'm not sure if UK postal will let the break take huge amounts of time.
Still a chance the break gets caught.

When will they start climbing Le Grand Colombier?

Very soon and no live pictures for another 50 minutes.
Great, isn't it?:rolleyes::mad:

That is ridiculous.

Not really. Up and down one climb and the rest has been more or less pan flat.

They've only been riding for 100 km, so that's a decent climbing to flat ratio.

Why not?
Up until the last Tour, Evans used to do it regularly.;)

Okay, I'll spell it out for you. If Wiggins falters will it be because he's at peak AND rubbish on climbs, or will some decide he's not actually at
peak after all?

And back to the race. No more derailing from me.

Using the current repeat preparation theory, Brad's best bet is to get in to a winning position and then mentally crack completely.

4 years later he'll be ready to go.

The forum Brits are getting a bit annoying with their "thou shalt not doubt Wiggo" attitude...

Cobo understands: you need to be crap in the Dauphiné to win the Tour.
