Its all for evans today.
But I'm sure BMC could have used someone else like quinziato.
Don't know why they chose to use gilbert.

So what is BMC's strategy today? Shake off Rogers on Corbier? Evans won't gain 16 seconds on Rogers on the final 1.5k climb.

That would involve Evans attacking and soloing 25km, given Rogers is a comfortably better climber than BMCs second best.

After being paid 3 Million for doing almost nothing. Great deal by BMC  :p

And of course, whilst he may get back to where he was, he also may not.

Talk about buying at the top of the market.

Well, my questionmark sort of hinted that trying something on Corbier is more or less useless. Evans needs a longer last climb or that Corbier is closer to the final Chatel climb. By hey, I won't fault Evans for trying even if it's pretty hopeless. He signals to Wiggins that he will be in attacking mode at TDF. Psychological warfare.;)

Copel showing something at last...Rolland struggling ?

Nibs on the attack ? Ah...no, a teammate.

SBS go live and Katusha working hard on the front. I guess Menchov feels good and reckons he can take back the 17 minutes on the climb!

I reckon Moreno thinks he can win this stage; and might well win it.

SBS is the TV network which shows the cycling in Australia.

On another note, i wouldnt be surprised if Evans tried a longer range move today, he has nothing to lose really.

Given we've all been told he wasn't really trying in the TT, I can't see why he would then try to attack 3 stages in a row.

Doubt he wants more than the stage and possibly second place overall. No point in going too deep.

Why not attack though? He has nothing to lose but everything to gain in this race. If he cracks and falls off the podium i doubt he would mind that much in comparison to a race like the tour where i imagine he would want to protect his position overall.

I'm not saying i expect him to attack from a long way out, just saying i wouldn't be surprised if he went from a reasonable distance considering he doesn't have anything to lose.

Would like it if Coppel could somehow pull this off. This would be the at least third time he's been on the attack in this race, right?
