It does show that stages don't have to be superhard to be well-constructed, as long as the race design is good (i.e. not backloaded with similarish freakish final climbs).

riders make the race.. this course could've been very boring if they waited for the final climb and they all went tempo riding. Then it would suddenly be a sucky course.

This Tour is going to suck, because Froome was dropped like a stone two times in a row. It is a complete disaster for Sky.

No one is able to keep AC wheel during the Tour. Contador almost won this race doing solo for 20+ kms. Tour is over...

Contador beat an "injured" Froome, could be he gave him a good pasting, could be the crash took alot out of Froome, only Froome really knows I guess. Hard to draw any conclusions from this.
