Good question. I haven't seen anything. Obviously he finished yesterday's stage with the injuries.Do we know anything new about Roglic's injuries btw? I feel like this should be a huge talking point by now
We know now that Sepp Kuss should have won the poll. I'm extremely disappointed in Benoit Cosnefroy, who did not start today.
Yeah the whole 2014 situation generally felt a lot more "epic", but it was still very similar, you have to admit that.
totally different imo as that had Contador and Froome clearly having the legs to contain the situation but both played hardball and insisted the other did the work to close the deficit with the net result that by the time Contador dropped Froome and headed up the road the gap was already too big.
Here the gaps were never huge and Pinot was always in the positions in the race he was in because they were the best position his legs would allow. He didn’t throw it away due to tactics, instead it was not having a team and not quite having it himself to rescue it.
I've dreamed before about a French billionaire coming in and building a Ineos style French super team. I really think it would work as long as everyone including Bardet is willing to get behind Pinot or vice versa.I think the French should form a super-team for the Tour. It's only fair, up against the hornets (who all seem like nice guys, still...)
The guy who was never a GT guy but suddenly became a GT guy now suddenly isn't one againSo G held back yesterday to something for today so he could lose 33 minutes. I’d take Froome over G because Froome has an excuse for his form, superior mental strength, and more dedication.
Edit: This isn’t to say that Froome is doing well or has prospects for a good showing in the Tour.
Not sure if you’re referring to Froome or G here. I guess accurate either way in varying degrees. The guy who was never a GT guy but suddenly became a GT guy now suddenly isn't one again
The usual Geraint Thomas style is to need insane luck to win Paris Nice or some *** like that and never be a GT contenderIdk isn't that the usual Geraint style, he's crap at the races leading up to the Tour and then he wins it or is second.

Probably still less than Wiggo...Thomas is an embarrasment on the Tour de France palmares
The guy who was never a GT guy but suddenly became a GT guy now suddenly isn't one again
I have already had my yearly meltdown, I won't comment further...but I agreeThomas is an embarrasment on the Tour de France palmares
God yeah undoubtedly.Probably still less than Wiggo...
Would you be half okay with a guy with a French sounding last name winning?I have already had my yearly meltdown, I won't comment further...but I agree.
At least you can kinda see Wiggins coming and he won on a year that massively suited him and had very little competition that yearProbably still less than Wiggo...
God yeah undoubtedly.
Even in his best year, Wiggins would have gotten shredded on any other Tour route.

I suppose all the people who voted "other, non-French" meant Dani Martínez?
And Cosnefroy surprised me indeed. In a negative way, unfortunately.
