I am genuinely surprised with the way Gee is riding, I do believe he will suffer more on stages with more vertical meters but this was really impressive from a rider that I considered a rouleur before this Dauphiné

Roglič was good and did his job helped by an excellent Vlasov. Ciccone very good too. As for Remco, maybe the crashed yesterday affected him more than others but this is not a great sign ahead of the TDF.

It's pretty strange some in this forum keep saying the same things:
1. Roglic' win is boring: how so? He delivers when in form, and considering the next 2 days, there was no need to do more than this. He'll go from further tomorrow and probably smash everybody and take a minute. he looks lean and the TT already proved he is in very good shape.
2. Remco is fat. Yes he's fat, he is currently above his ideal climbing weight. He is on perfect TT weight ofcourse, as we could all see. Remco himself knew he wouldn't be competitive uphill, and it showed. He did actually better than anyone would expect, not dropping like a stone but fighting until the end.
The question is, why is he so fat. Again.

The discrepancy in forum reaction between Roglic winning in a boring way and literally anyone else winning in a boring way remains a sight to behold...
Thank you! This is utterly disgusting, can't stand this way of riding from the best rider/climber in this race (by far). Always waiting for a mountain sprint, he can't beat Pogi if he continues to race like this.

Congrats on the TDF '24 Teddy. None of these chaps will be good enough. Saves me time watching.
That should have been clear even before this Dauphine, these guys can reach over 100 per cent form in three weeks and still be left in the dust by The Pog. There's only one rider who can beat him and that one I don't think will be fit to do it this year.

On the other hand, is Gee riding Le Tour?

But not with the actual frames, handlebars and tyres. When it rains during races in the mountains/hills, we will see such crashes. Not always with 50 riders involved, but still.
And not on A-grade fine asphalt in the wet. You actually have to ride on that pavement in the dry to see how perfectly smooth it is when it's this new. Like a billiard table and feels great and scares the crap out of you in corners.

Landa wanst super at the end..but I dont know how much afected to be stopped and lose his GC options and to win the stage.

If this is his level he has to help Remco, but to acelerate and stop take its toll.
