Remco, needs to be smarter about this stuff.
Going across was not necessary, just wasted energy.
And if you do go across, he should have raced more like Vingegaard. Now all he did was allow his main rivals to take bonies.

It's just 4 big names getting dragged by the motor and actually attacking because none of the 4 actually care about the race
Mindboggling indeed, the motopacing. I don't think they cared much about pushing until the finish, but they were like, okay, free ride behind the moto, so why not.

Be interesting where Milan finished. Not in the top 25 but saw two Lidl Trek riders moving up the outside of the bunch coming into that last km so wonder was that him or if he just sat up once victory was gone.

Also no sign of Cort, looks like Fredheim sprinted for UnoX

why was remco so far back at the start of the hill? he was waaaaaaaaay back.

more weird because after being too far back the previous time, his team was keeping him at the front for 20+km.

Do you really think bonus seconds is what will separate Remco from Pogacar?
Probably the gap at the end of the Tour will be more than 30", that does not mean it would be smart for him to randomly drop half a minute in at transition stage. I understand risk vs reward with a possible stage win, but he should not hav been the one to pull the most
