Sky at the Tour is just going to be ridiculous!

Froome Thomas Kwiatkowski Moscon Bernal Poels Van Baarle Castroviejo

Rowe & Stannard as back up rouleurs!

Could see five of them in the top ten, which is completely insane. In the same breath, if Froome fades, it's hard to see any one of the others on the top step.

Who is most likely? Maybe Bernal?

Yeah, probably Bernal, although if Froome did fade Thomas would surely see it as his one chance for individual Tour glory sandwiched in between the Froome and Bernal eras.

Seeing a team like that is dis-spiriting. For opponents, obviously, but also for viewers as it just looks like it will inevitably be monotonous racing. Sky will be super strong in the team time trial, and Froome will know he can take time off his main rivals in the final time trial, so everything else in between looks like being just the Sky train tempo riding to prevent attacks.

About the Thomas's crash, it's really silly because there was only 2 curves in that prologue. It's not that he would have won even 10 seconds riding aggressively. To take the risk to fall heavily and to be out of le Tour just to gain 2 seconds in the dauphiné looks very stupid to me. Maybe he desperately needs that stage win (with the manner) to impress the sky management about leadership on le Tour.

It's Kwiato I think. Third week probably is too much for Bernal and first half of this course is certainly challenging for him.

If they take Poels in, then why not Kiriyenka?

Kiryenka is declining, he's been rather average this year.

Geraint Thomas wanting leadership in the Tour is pretty much the cycling equivalent of me wanting to date Scarlett Johansson.
I've got higher chances to date Naomi Campbell, since she desperately wants a little baby boy, than Thomas has to effectively lead Team Sky at the Tour de France! Talking about baby boys, Bernal takes over leadership duties once Froome is out of contention.
