Was that Nibali with late attack? Was reported as Pelizotti, which would be surprise.

Nice win for Impey.

Exactly same question for me... CN and Eurosport saying it was Pellizotti, but it sure looked like Nibs.

If it was Delphino, then Nibs lost time as there was only single BHM rider in the first bunch.

It was the shark, and perfectly timed as usual, without Moscon closing had an excellent shot.

That was a powerful sprint by Impey if somewhat surprising.- Alaphalippe needs more patience, as chasing down breaks in the last 4km, must have reduced his power for the sprint.

Most breaks that are not chased down do well, seemed more like a vanity exercise from the Shark.

Of course the Bahrein guy was Nibali? Who else? :D

I was hoping he'd do a San Remo, but nice win for Impey.

Pelizzoti made a poor attack at the foot of the last climb (5k to go). He was quickly taken back before Teuns and then Alaf & kwiatko attacked.
Nibali attacked under the flamme rouge, but that didn't last more that 200m.

EDIT : well i'm not 100% sure it was pelizzoti with 5km to go, but it was a bahrein that was not Nibali.

I think it was Cortina on the last climb.
Nibali attack was at a good moment, when riders started looking at each other, but immediately stopped when Moscon got on his wheel obviously.

Yes, Valgren should have done what Nibali did instead of leading the peloton with 3 to go and open the sprint with 400 to go with Alaphilippe on his wheel.

No comments on Ackermann? That's a mightily impressive third place among those guys.
I was actually thinking the opposite. Yes, impressive he was there in the group, but I thought he'd be by far the fastest in a reduced sprint where Alaphilippe manages 2nd. Maybe I misjudged him as a pure sprinter, based on his performances in the lesser Belgian classics this year.
